We ate at the cafe on 7-9-19. Our food was fine and the atmosphere was fine, EXCEPT for the youngish woman working at the... cashier. We came in and asked if the cafe was open and she said not for 15 minutes. Then later we asked (for future reference)about breakfast and she said it was over. Turns out we COULD have had breakfast when we arrived, which we would have liked, andthat when she said the cafe was closed, that meant closed FOR LUNCH (even though all we'd said was "is the cafe open yet?). Thisyoungish woman (she wears glasses) clearly hated us, and all human life in the museum and cafe (possibly excepting herself, possibly not). She was rude and just this short of hostile. The cafe would be a nice place if not for her. She nearly ruined ourvisit entirely. Read more

This cafe is operated by Delicious and still get a discount if you are a member of Bullock Texas State History Museum. It has... been remodeled and with a new menu. I got a grilled cheese with fries. There is a lot of seating inside and on the balcony. Read more

Food items were a bit overpriced, even for a museum cafe. However, being able to get a snack sized Blue Belle cup of ice cream... for $0.92 was pretty neat. Read more

So glad the RK group is running the cafe again! Had the enchilada special today and it was great, and a bargain at $8. Even... the refried beans were delicious. Menu is limited but over time they will be expanding the choices. Read more

Another change. Lots of good seating both inside and out. I think it is still a bit high priced. Staff is business like. Offer... more salad choices, but no more breakfast tacos. Was once a lunch time hub for downtown office workers. Just too high prices forfood. Read more

Food was alright. Kids meals were, as always, overpriced and not enough. My husband and I got the special of the day, a taco... salad with ground beef. It was good, reasonably priced, and it came with a drink. I don't recommend eating here, simply becauseAustin has so so many great places to eat on the cheap. If you want to take your kids to eat after exploring the museum, save afew bucks and go to a P Terry's. Read more

Food was good and the prices were reasonable, but the guy at the register was rude and inconsiderate. Additionally his... fingernails were full of filth.....disgusting. Granted everyone has a bad day once in a while, but if this is is normal MO heshould be fired! Read more
