Get the brisket breakfast tacos at the airport. These are excellent, with really fatty brisket on top of eggs. The salsa they... give as well is excellent. I would say the only reason I?m giving a 4/5 is because the cheese I added to the tacos was notmelted at all (the taco was lukewarm instead of hot). Read more

Pretty good! Fast and great BBQ! I think the best quality, quantity, price ratio at the airport you can find! Totally... recommended if you don?t want to miss out on some delicious BBQ and if you?re hungry. Their brisket is not the best, but therest is great! Read more

Changing my rating - the person in my party who ate it, got sick and right before a flight is not the time for getting... sick!!! Original review: The BBQ pulled pork sandwich combo that's normally $14 at standalone Salt Lick is $21 at the airport. Luckily, it's the same recipe for everything. It looked really good! Read more

Very good brisket and sausage - definitely a step above your average airport fare, not to mention anything you can find outside... of Texas or Kansas City. Sides were good too. Docking one star for being high priced. Read more

I'm not usually a fan of airport food but I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this place. The brisket was so tender and the... service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend if you are at Austin Airport and need a good meal! I went for the brisketplate which was a good price and portion. If I was to return I'd try the 2 meat plate to try their other meats! Read more

Got the brisket sandwich and it was the same price as the two meat platter. Definitely recommend the platter since it comes with... two meats at the same price. The brisket was dry and burnt in some parts. I think it?s just that they?re not able to cook to thesame level at the airport. Read more

The BBQ is delicious, and the potato salad and coleslaw (no mayo) are also both delicious. The 2 meat plate is $22. Although... it?s not as good as the original store (e.g, no port ribs on the airport menu), it?s still a pretty good option for having ameal within the airport. Read more

If you have a layover and are short on time, grab a three platter bbq and enjoy it inside the plane to let the aroma spread. J/k... please don?t. Right next to a Southwest terminal, quick and easy to try Austin bbq. I haven?t tried the best bbq joints inAustin, so I don?t have a frame of reference for how good, mediocre, or bad the Salt Lick BBQ is. The meat wasn?t too dry. Theorange-colored sauce packet was actually sweet; I was actually expecting something tangy and spicy. But we enjoyed it along withthe homestyle potato salad, country coleslaw, and some beans with brisket. You can?t pick all briskets for the three meatplatter, so we tried the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. It's pretty decent, and I would grab it again if I?m near thisterminal. Thank you Austin Airport and Salt Lick BBQ! Read more
