Admitting I was skeptical. under a hotel isn't always great but this was a lovely dine! Shared 2 Metzes, salad with added... grilled shrimp, and the grilled lamb. Everything came out perfectly cooked with flavors that were unique and delicious. Spice iseverywhere! Not all heat but you can get that too if you like it, I do. Really good Mediterranean downtown Austin! Located in The Proper Hotel next to the lobby. The outdoor seating, ambiance, food,... drinks, bar and overall vibe were all on point! Loved the Mediterranean decor, wood, tile walls, open kitchen and dim light,great spot to roll low key and hide away, good for large groups or even a romantic date. Really enjoyed the ambiance and food. Some of the best Mediterranean food I have had and the place is so well designed with... sparks of nature and stylish tiles on the wall. We loved the manti dumplings, cauliflower and roasted chicken. The lamb meatballwas flavorful though a bit spicy for me. The date pudding was pleasing to look at but also a bit too sweet for us.
