Best pizza in Austin. The taste is delicious, the sauce has the perfect amount of spice and the pizza is always hot and ready.... Unassuming, basic b*t*# good hole-in-the wall pizza place with a gracious couple who genuinely like the mess of people they... serve every night. Don?t know if how they do it. Delicious slices every night til late. Better than east side pace. IMHO. Theymight play hooky a few Monday nights in Feb. but they?ll legit apologize, and what are you doing DT on a Mon. night in February,anyway? Good people. Delish pie slices. Read more

Literally my spot. If I?m out and in the area, this is where myself and anyone I?m with goes to. I checked the time, and had... 30-45 minutes before close so I walked over? never been ushered out faster ever when I was willing to buy a whole pie, when Ionly needed a few slices. I was told ?I have to make pizza for the window before I take orders?. If I even decide to makeanother pie?? and repeatedly reminded that it would be 30+ minutes for him to make pizza for the window and then a payingcustomer who was there I get it that business is business? but if you don?t want to work just say you are closed?. I work insales, and if it?s not worth my time I say it? if I?m here for the business, you make it work. Time to find another spot ifthis is the attitude you get on a slow night in Austin? Read more
Went in for the first time, staff is very friendly, pizza is kept warm but they reheat it in a toaster when you order, and just... like that you have a delicious slice of pizza. Definitely coming back, it's all so good. Read more

All my friends and family know what my favorite pizza is, because I take them all there every time Im craving pizza, and they... All have the same experience. The pizza is so tasty,the perfect texture, the right amount of cheese and sauce. All theingredients that has you wanting more. A few times I had got 3 slices of pizza and went home, then drove back to get a few moreslices lo? I?ve been going for years now, and even though it?s a mile away, I just wish they opened up another ?The Onion? onthe east side lol. So many great pizza places in Austin, but none of them are as good and flavorful as the onion. I?m a regularcustomer now and I can?t believe how long it has taken me to write a review. I have constantly talked highly about this pizzajoint, and many of my friends and family have tried it out themselves. The onion knows me each time I go in, and they make myexperience even better by our little talks, and I always mention how much I just love their pizza!!!
