It?s Thanksgiving time again and my annual trip to The Honey Baked Ham Co. to pick up the Bone-In Quarter Ham. A year ago I... brought home the Green Bean Casserole and Loaded Smashed Potatoes but it was a large pan of sides where too much for us to eat. The sides were very good and remember was frozen so took some time to prepare. Both were very good and very tasty, but It?s theham that takes centerstage. The ham weighed in 5 1/2 pounds and so far fed us for three days. The ham itself is just deliciouswith that honey taste giving it excellent flavor. There is a very thick honey crust on top and honey juice on the bottom. It isprecut except at the end where the bone is. My ham seems to have a small bone where in the past was big where may depend on thecut. I tried other competitor hams where this one is the best. I learned to get my ham days 4-5 days before Thanksgiving Day tobeat the crowds and this time I just walked in without a preorder where there was no line. Read more
Prepaid for a meal and pick up time for 4pm. Hours waiting in line. UNREAL. Left without a meal. The purpose of prepaid and... selecting a pick up time usually indicates your order will be ready. Not take your money, schedule a time, drive 30 minutes topick up your meal for your meal not even be available? Can?t make this up. Read more
had an appointment to pick up at 1pm today. Told no orders were ready and everyone would have to come back at 3pm. They did not... call/text/ or email. We all needed to get to the building to be told this. At 3pm, they still are not ready. It is almost 4pm,have been in line for an hour, and still have not picked up order. Terrible customer service. Thanks for nothing, literally. Place order and prepaid for 2 roasted turkey breasts for Thanksgiving because I was traveling to... Austin and couldn?t make my own. Received confirmation and then 2 or three emails reminding me to pick up as schedule on WedNov 24 at 1 PM. I called the store at noon because I thought I might be late and was urged to be on time. I arrived at myappointment time and was told that the supplier ran out of turkeys and they were now out. I RESERVED AND PREPAID, who got my 2turkey breasts. Day before Thanksgivings and I have no turkey! Asked manager for refund and she said she couldn?t issuewithout my CC that I didn?t have because I PREPAID. Done with HoneyBaked! Read more
I pre-ordered my Thanksgiving dinner a month ago and pre-paid. Went to pick it up at this Austin location only to find that... people walking in last minute we?re able to buy the pre-ordered food. It was my first time here for lunch. The store associate Stephanie was really friendly, helpful, and prompt. I was expecting... there to be a wait since this is the famous Honey Baked Ham company but we were in and out. The sandwich I ordered was The HoneyBaked - it was phenomenal. the bread was fresh, the flavor palette so sweet, salty, and it had this crunchy texture in thecenter that added to the sandwich even more. I will definitely be going back and took my coworkers with me on the adventure andthey were highly satisfied as well. Read more
