Dined at connection after watching avengers- end game. My boy Friend and his sister had brunch on mothers day at connection and... could not stop raving. So we decided to have an extended date at the connection. Being from east coast and have lived on westcoast for long, I have a fine appreciation for italian food and fusion. Was more intrigued to try this after reading the reviewsand ofcourse because of my BF. The 1st thing I learn from our server Madison is that the owner owns Barley Bean which is ourfavorite coffee shop. I was like yeah !! My instincts were like, go girl, good choice. We tried the mozzarella Fritta , Thewolf and the connection pizza. And tiramisu for the dessert. 5 out 5. Hands down. If you have traveled the US, you willappreciate what they have. Austin needs more place like connection. This is class at Austin prices. East Austin and downtown ismissing this. They have a great wine selection. the synthesis was a good pick. They have insane happy hour with great drink specials and pizza at half off. the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is... relaxing. The pasta is a must try as well as the pizza with the avocado. Highly recommended. Read more

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and had moderate expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the Margherita,... Spicy Love and the fried mozzarella appetizers! The food was really fresh and well made. Tons of crowd pleasers for largergroups. The pizzas are good to share amongst 2-4 people and are decently priced. We were there for happy hour when themargaritas are $5. Highly recommend and will be returning!! Read more

Tasted great but the pizzas (Texas specifically) looked like they were made at a school cafeteria/assembly line. Instead of... topping uniformity throughout the whole pie (added evenly) it looked as if they cut the pizza then added toppings separately oneach slice. I get how you want every piece to have toppings, but they all ended up looking pre-made/processed. Read more
