Solid neighborhood bar. Nice darts area. Small side patio in the shade where you can smoke. $12 burger and fries was fine. Good... beer selection. Wifi. Read more

We were looking for a restaurant that was dog friendly on the inside. I called and they said come on down. Very friendly staff,... the food was five/five. Had bar seating, table and an area for games. Definitely will go back. Read more

Unpretentious neighborhood bar & grill. Solid food (I had the chicken tenders). Which were exactly as advertised. No pic... attached b/c everyone here knows what a tender looks like. Was delighted to see actual daiquiris on the drink menu. Hint. They?re not frozen and are served ?up?. Came on a Wednesday night. Place was busy but not crowded. Music was good. Restroomswere clean. Only reason I didn?t give 5 stars is because ain?t none of us perfect. Read more

Great divey bar with a killer personality and a fantastic Cajun-leaning menu. I recommend the chicken tendies!

First time here and came on St Patrick?s day for happy hour and the DJ. Got here at 4:45 and ordered a gin and tonic, but they... were out of tonic. My friend tried to order a whiskey sour, said they couldn?t make it. Then tried to order a burger and saidthey were out. We probably should have left right then but we were starving. Pretty disappointed with the evening. DJ was greatbut wasn?t there very long, and for $10 a cocktail you can find much more comfortable/cleaner bars in the area. Read more

The Cavalier is a neighborhood bar known for its brunch and drinks so I had to give it a try. I got the bacon and egg biscuit... which was pretty good and a side waffle. The waffle I wouldn?t get again as it had a strange flavor like lemon rind in thebatter, not too sure what it was. The bartenders were nice and it was a good place to stop in on Sunday for brunch. One of my favorite neighborhood bars! Their food is great and they do offer different options for brunch. They are also one of... the Austin FC Official bars and I love seeing other fans there to enjoy the game. They have a pool table and darts inside;outside you'll find a good amount of seating since they've converted part of the parking lot in in patio. They are also verymuch dog friendly and even have treats at the bar! They have recently opened up Wicky's Walk Up which has also has a great menuand different drink options. Don't forget they have Drag Brunch on Sundays and buy one get one Burger Night on Mondays. Highlyrecommend this place. Read more
