Even though these are my favorite tortillas I must say, that the attitude of the employees also counts. I came all the way from... Houston, so I decided to get my favorite tortillas. I asked about the tostadas & this lady?s(old 50?s ) attitude just made menot want to buy at all. She just kept answering like I was bothering her. As a former customer service employee I know thatcustomers come first & customers are always right, even if their wrong. She shouldn?t be working there if she?s gonna have anattitude. I wanted to walk out & not buy but I don?t live in the city so I had no choice. She should learn to treat hercustomers kind & with a good attitude, one day she?s gonna run into the wrong person. My 14 yr. old daughter said; she should?vejust told us to leave! Vine desde Houston a comprar tortillas por que son mis favoritas. Pero la verdad quería salir de ahí yno comprar nada. I just moved to Austin from Washington State and when I found out that there was an El Milagro here I got in my car and went in... immediately. I used to have my cousins from Chicago mail me tortillas because I couldn't find them where I lived. I am soexcited to live close to the best tortillas outside of Mexico! Read more

A while back my son the Chef told me , I am going to take to a place where you can buy the best tortillas you ever have. He was... so right we are faithful customers of El Milagro, why? They taste homemade. I even got my other son while I was out of townmailed me some because I couldn't find them at the store. Don't waste your time buying other brands, buy the best, El Milagro. Their thick and crunchy corn tortilla chips are pretty darn good. I used to like the thin version also but have given up on them... because the bags themselves always have holes on the bottom because the plastic is so cheap, so definitely not sanitary. Alsothe thin chips fall apart way too easily when dipping into salsas and other sides. Read more
Love this place! Been going there since I was 4 years old with my mom when it use to be on east sixth street. When you could get... fresh warm corn tortillas and a cold coke...yup that long ago. Love the smell and the products there. Good place for corn chipsand corn tortillas plus masa for the tamale season. Great staff...keep it up. Read more
