Reviews for Suprabhat in Austin, TX
Been here a couple times, the service and food wasn't good recently. It was chilly inside even with my coat on, the dosas did... not have flavor, and the service sub par. The place was not busy so not sure why the server was not more attentive to a few ofus. I will not go there again but you might have a better experience. Read more
The food in Suprabath is really good and Authentic.I definitely recommend and visit again this place.
Ordered the South Indian thali for dinner which was stale, with tiny proportions and food tasted awful. Poori is not south... Indian and it tasted like rubber, yogurt tasted like it was made of maida/flour; moreover, there was beet sabji and other stalesubjis which made my stomach upset the next morning. Should have read the reviews before buying. Feel sick as I'm writing thisreview. Read more
Had Rava Dosa and Papee Dosa - both were delicious and the Sambar and 3 chutneys were authentic too.It is a less pricier but... with a better taste - hidden gem for those looking for a Pure Veg restaurant I will try their Thali some day Read more
Went on Saturday morning for breakfast. The menu had lots to offer. I ordered idli and masala dosa. Idli was very soft and... sambhar & chutneys tasted good. Dosa was little disappointing as it wasn?t as crisp as you would expect it to be. Also thefilling in the dosa was very bland and liquidy. Read more
Never going back again.Worst customer service.Food is okay however we ordered a special thali and we were feeling bloated with... rice even without finishing half the plate that seemed something fishy as they seem to be adding something in rice that causespeople to feel full and bloated.I say this with confidence as we are people who eat really very high calorie, quantity andquality food.So can definitely judge. They didn?t even bother checking back if we need anything else we kept raising hand as wewanted some curd because the thali was a bit spicy but never bothered to respond the time we went the tables were hardly filledcan?t imagine how the service would be if it?s peak. Clean and charming decor. Fast and accommodating service. First time finding an Indian restaurant that has a green moong daal... style dosa and the accompanying chutneys are especially delicious. Also, this is so far the only restaurant with dine-in optionin Austin that has actual Chole Bhatura (not Poori-- which for some reason the Indian restaurants out here keep trying tomasquerade poori as bhature, which is really frustrating to true chole bhatura fans) Read more
Food was splendid. It makes you feel you are back in South India. Everything we ordered was served hot and fresh. Must try. We... are eager to try the whole menu.. Read more
