My girlfriend and I just finished eating our meal that we had delivered from this store and we felt compelled to leave a review.... Let me preface this by saying that our delivery came from this store, but it?s usually sent from the Norwood park store. Ratherthan leave a negative review there, I want to shower some praise on the guys getting it right. And sure, it?s just subway, butwhen fast food exceeds my expectations I?m really very happy. Our sandwiches were absolutely phenomenal. Best meal I have eatenfrom a subway in 25 years, easy. Bread was beautiful and full, well baked. Constructed in a way that didn?t set off selfdestruct upon unwrapping. Proportionally well topped. Cookies were what I love and remember from years ago. I?ve been aprofessional chef working in the industry for over 2 decades and I know it?s important to let other people in the industry knowwhen they?re batting 1000. We got here at 9 exactly and the employees did not let us stay there to eat. The restrooms were closed as well because they did... not want to clean after which was said by one of the employees themselves. I wanted to talk to the manager and he told us thatno one could eat there after 9. When I asked if i could see a manual where it said that, they said it was their decision and notsomething that was stated in a manual. Read more

This subway is dirty and the staff is untrained and rude. The last time I went there for a pickup order, the associate at the... counter refused to hand me my order that was ready and on the counter behind him. He made me wait while he made anothercustomers order, proceed to take the payment from the other customer. And even while he was waiting on the customer to inserttheir card and finish the payment, i asked him to just hand me my order from behind him but he rudely refused and said he willonly listen to once he is done with the current customer. So i had to wait more than 15minutes for this guy to pick up a bag ofsubs from behind him. Already paid and made. I switched to a different branch after that horrendous experience but honestly imdone with subway. They are on the bankruptcy train anyways. The 2 lady workers working the night shift on 02/22/21 at the Lamar location we?re so rude.. They completely disregarded me as I... walked in and stood at the counter. They didn?t even look up to say hello and continued to chat and laugh while packing to-goorders which I completely understand, however a simple ?we?ll be right with you? or even a ?hello? doesn?t take much effort ortime. I stood there for what felt a whole minute just staring at them, they continued to ignore me so I just walked out and gotsome tacos instead. It?s basic customer service!! This specific location has the rudest staff I've ever encountered at a Subway. On several occasions I've seen the manager argue... with customers for what appears to be no reason other than he doesn't like being told what to do. The last time I went Is thelast time I will ever go to this location because of this manager. I simply asked Him to stuff the content said the sandwichbefore wrapping it and he argued with me. Who wants to unwrap a sub that has everything smeared on the outside of it. Read more

I enjoyed being told to leave the store 30 minutes b4 closing while the store was still getting business and having to eat my... sub sitting on the sidewalk. I wish I could call out the little boy's name who kicked me out but unfortunately I don't rememberit. He looks about 10 and somehow has a job with poor customer service skills. I'm sure the others who came to the door to getfed appreciated the door locked during business hours and have the same kid ignore them so he could get off early. Read more

As a very unassuming subway location tucked into a shopping strip, I was surprised by the quality this location offers. I went... from coming to this location on a whim one time, to coming to this location every time I visit a subway, and visiting morefrequently. Luis is an all star employee, very much worthy of the "top dog" award I see hanging behind the counter. From theattention he gives the customer to the attention he puts into his sandwiches, he is the leader the other employees follow inthis great location. Five stars, nothing less.
