Went here to try a new fried chicken place, apart from my regulars! I was not impressed with their spicy sandwich or they spicy... chicken nuggets, it was just ton of chili oil & red chili powder w/o any taste or seasoning. Also the fried chicken sandwich arereally small, they are more like a slider than a sandwich. The only thing good on the menu were the tater tots, literally theonly thing that had flavor! Read more

I was a little taken back at first because I thought they only had outdoor seating. There was a completely separate building for... drinks and indoor seating. BEST NUGGIES IVE EVER HAD!!! I got the "tingly" flavor which is super spicy. Yes please times amillion! Tater tots were seasoned AND stayed hot throughout the meal. Spicy Boys is never a disappointment. Even on their off days the food is excellent. The bone-in fried chicken is the most... perfect fried chicken I have ever had. It's brined to perfection so it pulls right off the bone. It is perfectly juicy on theinside and impossibly crunchy on the outside. It's sweet, salty, spicy, and perfectly balanced with a squeeze of lime. I havenever come here and been disappointed. To top it off, the guys who work on the truck are friendly and always genuinelyapologetic if something goes wrong. I cannot say enough good things. Read more
One of my favorite food spots in Austin. Got to try almost the whole menu. My favorite was the 5 bone in chicken, so juicy and... just falls off the bone and the flavor was amazing. The chicken sandwich was good too. The tater tots was a little too spicy forme. The roti bread and curry would be my other favorite too, so much flavor in the curry and the roti bread was amazing. Tried out Spicy Boys Fried Chicken, had the O.G. (Original Gal). It's fried chicken, green curry mayo, banana ketchup, pickled... green tomatoe, Thai herbs. And had to get some classic tots. .
