My family stopped by Sour Duck Market for dinner on Saturday night. Ordering food using the QR code was a breeze, and there was... a nice menu and beer selection. Unfortunately, the food just wasn?t that great. Everything was over salted. For example, my wifeand I are huge fans of French fries in general, but no matter how hard we tried to finish the fries, they were simply too salty.We?ll probably come back to try their baked goods or have a beer, but we?ll definitely skip dinner next time. Great neighborhood bar, coffee shop, and restaurant tucked away in the trees. The cappuccino was good a little bitter and had... some coffee grounds in the bottom at the end. Staff were friendly and welcoming and said hello even though you can grab a seatand order and pay your tab from your table. I think this is great and helps move service along when it?s gets busy. Parking is alittle awkward. Will definitely be back with some friends for happy hour! Fair warning about the tiny parking lot, someonebacked into me while I was in my car at only about 11 am and I got out to approach the car and they took off knowing they hitme. We stopped at the Sour Duck for breakfast ???? when visiting Austin for a University of Texas graduation ?????????????. The... baked ???? goods for fresh and delicious as was the coffee ??. I had a chocolate ???? croissant ????. They have a greatoutdoor space and live music ????. You can also see the staff at work preparing and baking the goods. I would definitely goback. Read more

Dog friendly: they?re not allowed inside but there?s plenty of outdoor seating and you can order from your table... so no stress about leaving your dog outside in order to place your place. Neighborhood restaurant and bar right around the corner from our air bnb we went here every day. The burger was amazing. The... fries amazing and I am picky with fries. The fried chicken sandwich looked good but it is a thigh and I only like white breastchicken in my sandwiches. The Paloma and the turmeric vodka cocktails were the fan favorites. Super cute place. Friendly and helpful staff! Had a nice dinner experience. They had heaters outside next to the tables since it... was chilly. The food menu had a lot of things out of stock, but I ordered 'Andy's VLT' with the house-made fries. The VLT wasdelicious and the fries came out cold. The 'Orange You Warm?' drink was so yummy and perfect for the weather. The orderingprocess was definitely one of my favorite portions of the experience. The tables are numbered and have QR codes. You simplyview the menu, place your order and pay your tab through the website. It was so convenient and user friendly. No need to splitthe bill or worry about not getting service. I loved this place!! Laid back, welcoming and somehow hip atmosphere at the same time. White bean lamb stew was absolutely... delicious. Hummus was great- taste, presentation, everything. Fried broccoli and fried chicken sandwich were too spicy for mytaste, but this place still gets 5 stars from me. Came on a cold and damp Sunday evening with friends. The semi-outdoor area was heated and dry which was really nice. The fast... and efficient ordering process is all online including the payment; however, it takes away from the human interaction aspect ofeating out. The food came fast and hot and tasted excellent.
