Went In to Get a Gift Card for my Niece who Apparently Loves This Place & Girl at the Counter Said They Had No Gift Cards ?
Extremely rude girl working the front. No one was in the front of the store when I walked in. After several minutes a girl came... from the back, walked up to the counter, and just glared at me. Didn't say a word. I asked if I could get a smoothie, and shesilently put in my order before rolling her eyes as she turned away to make my smoothie. Not a word came from her the wholetime. Love how they make the smoothie's overall nice workers but the motivation as workers is not there as well as focus during late... hours which is understandable which I'm not complaining about as a customer it has room to grow. Other than that keep up thegood work. Read more
I love smoothie king and it?s always a treat to me after workouts at least 1-2x a week. however, the staff at this location is... the most unfriendly i?ve ever encountered at any SK location and i?ve been to several throughout austin and san marcos. theydon?t even say hi sometimes, seem miserable, just not nice in my opinion, they have messed up my order bc they were too busychatting amongst themselves & missed what i said (this happened once), pay these kids more or something bc it seems like theyhate their job and it?s showing on their faces and in the overall energy in the store. I was at this location last week. I put in an order online to be picked up at 945 when I arrived the store was still closed. ... Finally somebody showed up to open the store. We were asked to wait outside while the guy opened the store which was fine. Itotally understand. However the guy didn?t lock the door and my son kept trying to walk in. When the next employee arrived myson was in her way and when she said excuse me he didn?t immediately move out of her way. I was in the process of telling mychild to let her through and she rudely rolled her eyes and said excuse me in very rude and annoyed tone and then bumped mychild aside to get in the door. It was rude and unprofessional. I know it must have been annoying for her for my kid to be inher way, but that was not the way to handle it and I spoke up. When we went inside she was talking rudely to her coworkersabout us complaining about how my son was?just standing there?. My child is on the Autism spectrum and and I definitely don?texpect people to know that, but he is just a child. At that point I felt I had to tell her that to defend his behavior, but itshouldn?t matter. He is a child and we are customers and she should have a little patience and professionalism. I definitelylost my cool with her, but who could blame me? Also, she didn?t make my smoothie correctly. She barely blended it and it wasawful. She made it out of anger and purposely made it bad. I had to go to another location to have it remade. I now no longerfeel comfortable going to this location as long as I know that she works there. I have since gone to the William Cannon andBee Caves location and they have been wonderful. I also want to note that the other employees were just fine. No complaints onthem. Just this one person. Best experience ever!! Staff was super nice and helpful!! One of the higher ups was there and struck up a small conversation... with me. Very nice guy!! I even asked his name but forgot it in a matter of minutes lol but I'm just that bad at names ???? I'lldefinitely be back!! Read more
I got a peanut butter chocolate protein smoothie. Flavor was good, but it still had several chunks in it. Staff weren't thrilled... to be there at all, which is why I'm only giving 4 stars. I'll come back in the future as the 20oz smoothie was reasonablypriced around $6. Read more
