Smokey Mos is the family go-to for barbecue. There was a time when the barbecue was great and the staff not-so great. I have worked in the service industry for 20 years and a first experience whether good or bad is not truly revealing of the true... character of an establishment and it?s people?what is revealing is how they handle their guests and this Smokey MO?s took careof me. They make a quality product and give great service and I know this which is why I go there?tonight, the product was notup to the standard I expect from them and I told them how I felt. They made it right and made my night and that is how a diningexperience should be. It can?t be perfect every time no matter how hard you try, but how you handle those moments speaksvolumes and what they spoke to me this evening is that they care, and it showed. Was excited to get a frito pie?.the food portion value is why I come here but I was VERY disappointed with what I received!! 80%... of the brisket was fat!!! I ate much of it until I kept noticing and pulled out the remaining pieces for this pic?EVERYTHINGleft was fat!!! Unreal!!! It bothered me when the cashier explicitly reminded me to review the questions on the touchscreen?.this money grab for tipping when showing up in store is ridiculous at these prices?you?re literally doing your job when I?mright there so I didn?t tip and was instantly fearful for what I would get. I was the ONLY person in the store with 3 employeesand the fact they loaded up my $11 frito pie with chopped fat is unforgivable!! They weren?t busy and they knew what they weredoing! I adore the staff! I haven?t had BBQ in almost two years since I?ve moved abroad, and ordered it in advance for a family member... to pick up for me before I arrived in town. That being said, I do not trust my family with my food, especially BBQ, so Irequested that the bag is secure with something like staples, tape, double-knot, etc. Little did I know that staff would havefun with it. They truly went above and beyond for my order and I am very thankful for their help and entertainment.:) Additionally, their ribs and jalapeño sausages really hit the spot! Read more
Wow, fantastic bbq! We got the small family pack (3 meats, 3 sides, pickles, onions, bread) and it fed 4 of us. The easy-to-use... online ordering made it a breeze to do even at a noisy football stadium. The location helped us decide to order from there andwe are so happy we did! Curbside service was seamless with just a phone call to notify them we arrived and it was brought outimmediately. Chicken was tasty and brisket was tender. Beans are soooo good and buttered potatoes were tasty. Gallon tea toppedit off. Can't wait to go back! Read more
