Like a lot of the other reviews, the food here is unbelievably bland. The raw oysters were cloudy and mushy, didn?t look right... at all, and were warm. We ate two and felt so grossed out by the warmth and appearance of them. All of the fried food weordered was super bland. We got the calamari, a shrimp and catfish basket, and the kids tenders and all of it was SO bland. How can you make fried food with no flavor at all? So weird. Read more
The fried shrimp was amazing. My entire meal was great and I really enjoyed it. The tartar sauce is made on site and it is... delicious. My food was the perfect temperature. The salad was crisp and fresh. Very friendly staff. I'm definitely going back. Read more

We decided to try Shuck Me since they are finally open. They were not able to take a phone takeout order so we had to go in,... order and then wait. The ordering is at the counter and then they give you a buzzer to come get the food at the counter whenready. They have live music on the weekends and it is VERY loud inside. They do have a nice patio as well. I tried the shrimpand grits and it was outstanding. My wife had the gumbo and it was pretty good. She also got the grilled zucchini and it wasgreat. We will definitely be back (when they don't have live music). Read more
Great atmosphere, lots of tables and seating. We ordered the clam chowder which was a bit bland for my liking, needed a little... more salt. The alligator bites were delicious with their lemon pepper seasoning on them, and the two dips with them were reallygood. The lobster hushpuppies are small, but pretty tasty. The garlic butter oysters had cheese on them which we didn't knowwhen we ordered, and we would have enjoyed them more without the cheese, it overpowered the flavor. We also got a Po Boy whichwas good. Next time we will try the fish, lobster, and shrimp. Read more
Been excited for this new restaurant to open up. Shrimp po boy was great but the grilled shrimp shrimp alfredo was amazing! The... ginormous Margaritas were perfect!! I typically don't like most restaurants sweet and sour but whatever restaurant this one usesis great and taste homemade. Everyone was super nice the staff was amazing and very attentive. This will definitely be a regularspot for me. Read more
Several thoughts: 1. Under NO circumstances order the GUMBO. This was the worst gumbo I?ve ever tried. In fact, the slop served... up is NOT gumbo. The ?gumbo? was topped with a Mexican style rice. Enough said. 2. Do not bother with the ceviche. This dishconsisted of pico de gallo mixed with cooked shrimp. The dish served is NOT ceviche. 3. The grilled grouper poor boy was fine.The fish was cooked OK. The bread, however, was quite soft. French fries are average at best. 4. The service was veryinexperienced. The physical aspects of the restaurant are nice for a casual place, but I don?t see how Shuck Me will stay inbusiness unless the food is drastically improved.
