Everything that we ate here was pretty great. I don't generally speak on service, but it was also really good. I'm more of a if... the food is good I don't think about the service. This place has the absolute best vodka sauce I've had and I'd definitelyreccomend. The lasagna was also top notch. Definitely would go back and reccomend. Read more

I had really high hopes for this restaurant and was really excited to score a reservation. I had the spaghetti with red sauce... (I’m a vegetarian) and an espresso martini. I was disappointed that the spaghetti wasn’t anything particularly noteworthy, compared to the same dish at other local Italian spots. Our waiter was nice enough, but the restaurant is extremely tiny andcramped and the air conditioning doesn’t work great/when the place is packed it’s hot in there and loud. I enjoyed my mealbut probably wouldn’t return as there are other Italian spots in Austin that are easier to get reservations at, have morevegetarian pasta options that are more memorable. Read more

First visit. Food was good. Service was good. Portions were on the larger side except the burrata, which was disappointingly... small at four bites total. Old school Italian restaurant vibe. Dark red and wood. Pictures of Italians line the walls. Read more

This was a lovely experience. Astounding service. The calamari was good. The eggplant parm was delicious and large enough for my... partner and I to share and take some to go. Was a bit expensive but definitely great for a fancier date night or celebration orjust to indulge a bit. Read more

I was not expecting such an upscale dining experience. Reminiscent of The Palm. Fantastic wine room. Great waitstaff. They had a... very jazz trio playing. Fridays at lunch they do a burger as a nod to Huts. Food was all delicious and the deserts lovely. It’s relatively pricy with most things between $20 and $40. It’s worth noting that the flour they use for pasta is anancient grain with much less gluten content making it suitable even for people with minor gluten sensitivity like my mom. Read more

Had an amazing first time at Sammy’s. Mr. Travis is the bomb and made the experience so memorable. Would definitely recommend... sitting at the bar and having him as your server. Food was fantastic as well!!! Read more

My wife and I dropped in on a Monday night with no reservation--it was packed, but there's always a chance to wait for a seat at... the bar, and we got lucky--no more than 10 min. We ordered some great drinks--a classic Negroni and some other appertifconcoction I enjoyed--some Focaccia bread was brought out and then we ordered dinner...I had linguini and clams while my wifehad the manicotti. Both were superb, and we some wine with our meal, shifting to amaroni and a nice peated whiskey and espressoto end things. This was a great experience--the food and drink were what you'd expect from the Mcguire Moormon restaurantgroup, but the service by the staff, from hostess to the bar, was just downright warm and friendly. I can't believe Hutts isgone, but I appreciate the replacement. We'll return for sure. Read more

Cozy Italian spot in Austin. Small tables, maximum 4 people per table. Ordered a few appetizers to share, the fried calamari... were good but the burrata was too salty and drenched in oil. Their signature dish, the chicken parmigiana, was delicious andvery large. Would recommend sharing as most dishes come with a pasta side. The breaded shrimp were not special and quite greasy. The cannoli dessert was amazing! Service is attentive and friendly. Prices are high. Read more
