Sammataro has been on my list for quite some time. The pies were good but more expensive than I was expecting. You can?t get... slices, just so you know, and it can get quite busy in the evenings. Read more

Good pizza - but judging from a price perspective, spending $40 for a pie is without a doubt inconceivable, even if it was... served at a restaurant. I?m Italian and spent years in New York. Even at the best restaurant for the best Italian pizza werarely get to $30 for a fully topped pie. If this was around $20 including the toppings, I would have given 5 stars.\n\nTheirbusiness model needs to be rethought a little, or they should change suppliers. I don?t think even importing fresh Mozzarellaand San Marzano tomatoes from Naples can explain their prices.\n\nThey can definitely do better about that - if not, there aredefinitely better options around Austin. The best pizza in Austin!! I have visited several pizzerias that had been recommended to me in the city and this is definitely... the best!!! The cornicione or edge of the pizza was at its exact cooking point, it wasn\'t burnt, it was how pizza should bemade!!! I recommend it 100%. In addition, the guys who attend super special, friendly and cheerful! For me the best pizza inTexas!!! Read more

Overall an Ok experience. Pizza was good for a mid week casual spot but for Austin?s Pizza scene it?s sub par. Still a sweet... spot. But it all depends how you like your pizza. For me 2.5 out of 5 I just don?t leave anything but 5 stars. Read more

The pizza was good. They burned half of my crust. :/ Overall I personally enjoyed and preferred Desano\'s. However, try both you... might like this one better. Read more

I think the pies are great!\n\nThe crust is crispy and almost flaky without being burnt. The toppings were tasty, and the... generous portions of fresh basil slowly wilting on the hot pie were just the right finishing touch.\n\nThis well lit locationhas plenty of picnic table seating, trash cans, and parking, as well as about four operating food trucks for a little variety. Our whole party enjoyed it! Read more

This could be So Much Better.\nThere\'s an excellent wood-fired oven, but the pizzas for this review were coming out of a... regular electric oven, so the review is based on that.\nThey\'re good pizzas, in the sense that they are *not* \"hightemperature awesome crust wood-fired pizzas.\nDon\'t get me wrong - the pizza isn\'t *bad*, it\'s just not anything to writehome about.\nStill, if you\'re in the \'hood, and feel like a pizza, it aint bad...
