We got the Beef tartare, Yukon masher, green beans and spaetzle. The beef tartare came with bone marrow and it was soft and... delicious. The mashed potatoe like Yukon masher was creamy and seasoned well. The green beans were crisp and tangy (tomato jam).But the highlight was the Spaetzle. It was warm, buttery (from the dough) and crunchy (from the veg). All top notch. Read more

Farm to table restaurant with an incredible menu that changes frequently. Their charming building is a remodeled home and has 2... beautifully decorated bathrooms inside the building. Outdoor seating available and live music on Wednesdays. Staff is veryhelpful and knowledgeable about the dishes or ingredients and help make the right recommendation pairings. They do review foodallergies at the beginning of service to ensure they can accommodate your needs. Cocktails are also creative, tasty, and wellmade. Ok, so, I have to say that this is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Not only for the amazingly inspired... and sublime food but also for the magical atmosphere and the above and beyond service by the ubber cool and hip yet not "I amtoo cool to be your server" staff. This place is gold. So we came to dine on a Tuesday evening and were greeted by the host,sorry I can not remember his name (tall, awesome hair, wore Converse) and as we told him the party name he immediately recognizethe reservation and greeted our son who's 12th birthday we were there to celebrate, even remembering the part that he was afancy restaurant connoisseur (my husband jokingly made that comment on the phone when reserving the table). Then we were seatedinside a tiny and very quaint room where there were about 5 other tables. Shortly after our waiter Ben came over, Ben you arethe coolest person I have ever met, he was extremely nice and made our son's birthday dinner extra special (Thank you Ben<3). Ok, food. We stared off with the Wagyu Beef Parisa (sorry no pic) omg it was so good, this dish was a bone marrow with adelish kind of mash on top that none of us could identify (and didn't ask LOL) it was very good, came with lavash bread and homemade hot sauce. After that we ordered a charcuterie board but asked our waiter Ben to bring us his favorite one so I am not surewhich one it was but I am going to guess it was the Chili Pequin Salami (sorry no pic) also this dish was amazing, fun fact, welearned from our lovely and knowledgeable bus boy (he had the coolest tattoos ever) that one of the chefs is the owner of thefarm where the restaurant gets it's pork, local and sustainable, we really loved that. Mains. Our son had the Rosewood Burger,it was 2 beef patties perfectly grilled, caramelized onions and pepper, oodles of cheddar cheese with a side of beef fat fries,which he loved. An exquisite experience in an incredible setting. All set within a beautiful old house from the 1890's. Friendly, warm and... attentive service from knowledgeable staff. Dining at the kitchen bar is a must for anyone wanting to see how a well run kitchenoperates. Highly recommended and the photos don't do the flavors justice. The bone marrow app, burger and dry aged ribeye... AMAZING! Honestly some of the best items I've tasted. The bone marrow with... tartar on top, delicious, delicate, and juicy. The burger, probably the best in Austin, juicy, soft, and super flavourful. Thedry aged ribeye and fries, damn... Cut with a fork tender, perfect flavor, and perfect skin. Only reasons it's getting 4? isthe cocktails could've been better, the bartender mezcal was overly sweet (sent back with a red wine replacement). And a bitover priced for the ribeye and octopus (which was okay, don't overly recommend). The service was good, server could have been abit more engaged, but food servers were great. Read more

The ambiance was great, and we had a lovely window seat. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was good, the steak... wasn't great; it was a bit cold. The parking situation was challenging, and the music was loud and not to my taste. I might goback, but I won't be craving it. Read more
