While the food and wait service was amazing. I called to make a reservation a few hours before dinner and they said they would... mark us down. Upon arriving they said they didn’t have a reservation for my party and assured us the next available tablewould be ours. It’s took 85 minutes to be sat, the margaritas helped with the wait but the back sass of the host didn’t. Iwould go back again but would recommend that reservations actually be taken seriously. Be careful - these guys add on additional charges to your credit card! I went to Polvo’s Downtown Central location with five... other colleagues for dinner. It was a pretty good ambience and food was fine. They brought the check with tip already added. Nobig deal - I paid with my card and we all left. Later, when I was filling in my expense report, I saw that they had overchargedmy card. That’s not cool. I called and spoke with a person named Oscar there. Hopefully he is able to resolve the issue. Butfrankly, it’s not even the extra amount that’s an issue, it’s the sneakiness that bothers me the most. Double and triplecheck your credit card statement a few days after you eat here. Bartender was good. Food and drink menu is good and priced well. We had a great time until the waiter spilled sauce on me. Even... then, no big deal except he didn’t even apologize. Just said ‘Oops’ then walked away. I don’t recommend this place. Read more

Its a bar or a restaurant, Mexican style. Lot of options, big portion size to be shared in 1-3 people. Ordered pitchers which... were not strong, so go for individual cocktails if you can. Read more
Great location spot for this place. The atmosphere was very nice, hostess was great, and got seated right away. Food was... good but i would have loved my sizzling fajitas to come out sizzling. Drinks were good, salsa was good, age they had verdesauce. Inside and outside area, dog friendly patio, but Our waiter took awhile to get to us and bring our foodthough. Overall pretty great but the south 1st location is where it's at. Definitely not as pretty but the food, service, salsa, etc is definitely a step above. Read more
I eat here often and the food never disappoints. The chefs know what they are doing with the oils and spices adorning the meats... and veggies. No complaints whatsoever on food. Big delicious tacos are only $6 a la carte and come with rice and salad. Greatdeal. Skinny margs are the way to go to avoid too much sugary mixer. Service is more miss than hit but they’re often busy. Iwish there were napkins near the salsa bar for sanitation since it’s self serve and to go cups for salsa when I order food togo. Read more
