Best wings in Austin. Spicy Ranch is my favorite--a dry rub. Good drinks, a happy hour and plenty of TV's for sports--and... plenty of tables too with 360 seating around the bar. I'm not sure if trivia ever came back since Covid killed it, but I missit and keep forgetting to ask. What a horrible experience. First off, I parked in the to-go parking on the side of the building. Turns out it's near a locked... door and one has to walk all the way around the building to get inside. When I shared this experience when one of the employeesthey shared that it was used during Covid. I suggested they remove the signage or cover it. Also no empathy or apology atall. When I entered the location there were no less than 6 people behind the counter including one manager. No one assisted me.I had to get someone's attention. They couldn't find my order. I reviewed my email receipt and noticed my meal would be anadditional 30+ minutes before it was scheduled to be ready. When I asked why it would take 50 mins to make a 10 piece wing orderI was told it was NFL Sunday. They were not very busy as there were only two afternoon games that aren't too important here inAustin, TX. Managing expectations is critical in customer service and I'll stick with Wing Stop in the future as they at leastkeep you in the loop about how long it will take before they take your money. I've finished this lengthy review and I still have20 mins to wait for my order of 10 wings. Based on their score compared to other Pluckers, it's clear I'm not the only personthat isn't a fan. Be sure to utilize the check-in online feature as the line can sometimes be up to an hour. TV's galore, so they are bound to... have your game. Chips and queso were good, but with a hiccup. The queso is fine, but the chips were absolutely delectible, Icould tell that they were freshly madew when we ordered them and they were almost slightly sweet with a hint of sugar in them.With that being said, the bottom half of our basket was all crushed crumbs, so we asked our waiter for another basket - hebrought it out but we ended up getting charged full price for a second order of chips and queso even though we were just broughtout a basket of chips. Server was fine but nothing special - two of our four members ordered something that apparently was nolonger on the menu (Impossible Wings & Magic chicken strips), so they were left scrambling trying to figure out a differentoption. I Love this place, I go there once in a while. Me and my friend love going to the bar. Although sometimes the waitress takes... forever to serve you and doesn't even come back to see if we need anything else. She needs to be more attentive to the guests.We were not the only ones who felt this way. Their wings are thick, not skimpy. You can order all drumlets if you want too and I do, because wings suck. Their mixed drinks... are great. Service can be a little slow at times, but always friendly. If you visit you MUST try their Holy Macaroni with thechutney it's not divine, but it's to die for. Seriously mad good. Not family friendly. Food is good. Waits are very long. It is very loud to the point where you cannot have a conversation. We... where sitting barely able to hear own thoughts never the less convey them to others. Amazingly, not knowing it was possible, itmanaged to get louder. Someone decided to turn the volume of the baseball game louder than the already loud customers. Caution:Prices on menu are not accurate. "Kids eat free" does not include drinks.
