We had the pleasure of visiting PastaBar Austin in July. It was one of the best dining experiences I?ve ever had. Each course... was thoughtfully planned out and the presentation was exquisite. The cocktails and wine were also wonderful. We will definitelybe back! Read more

If you\'re looking for an elevated one-of-a-kind dining experience, Pasta Bar is truly one of the most exclusive experiences in... Austin right now! It\'s very intimate with only a few seats at the chef\'s counter and the 11- course meal is hand prepared anddisplayed wonderfully. Two of my favorite meals were the lobster and bone marrow smoke (so delicious!) along with all of thewine selections. This was such a great way to spend the night and try something unique and different, I highly recommend makinga reservation here for any occasion! Read more

Food and service were absolutely great.\nEvery dish was balanced - unique combinations that worked extremely well together such... as the caviar semifreddo.\nThe sommelier was outstanding - very knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyards. The pairingsworked well and elevated the dishes in most cases.\n\nMy only recommendation would be to slow down the pace of the courses. Wemoved through each dish very quickly giving you little time to fully enjoy it. I was surprised to see that we were done in lessthan 2 hours. Read more

Hailing from Los Angeles, the Scratch team has brought one of the best tasting menus I\'ve ever experienced and definitely the... best dining experience in Austin. It was a little hard to find at first but that adds to its appeal. We were promptly greetedand then offered cocktails while waiting to be lead into the main dining room. It felt a bit like Disney World being lead in byan overly friendly and enthusiastic guide into the magical dining room. It was an intimate seating of 10 and an open kitchen soyou can see all the magic happen. Every dish was well thought out and honestly mind blowing. If you can snag a spot, I highlyrecommend going. Wow! One of the best chef?s table experiences I?ve had. Each of the 12 courses was meticulously crafted, eloquently explained... and delightfully scrumptious! Only 8 others joined us for the 10 person capacity seating Friday at 7:15pm. We all quickly becamefriends. The team of 8 chefs and soms were very friendly and engaging, and an incredibly well oiled machine. This will beAustin?s next James Beard award winner in 2023. Read more

If I could rate this six stars, I absolutely would. We?ve done tasting menus around all around the world, and this easily ranked... in our top five.\n\nThe night started in the front bar (which is open to the public without reservation) and we were welcomedwith a delicious cocktail while we waited for our seating. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly, we?ll definitely beback for a drink soon!\n\nWe were then led into the kitchen, with an intimate seating for ten. Three delicious amuse bouchéeand a personalized place setting welcomed us to our seats.\n\nFourteen thoughtful and surprising courses followed. I struggle tohighlight my favorites, but the chicken and crawfish pasta, or the blue crab corn with a chimichurri foam probably rankedhighest. Though each course stood on its own, with a eloquent presentation from the head chef, Jeremy Stephens.\n\nJeremy?sLouisiana roots were present in many dishes, a welcome and exciting addition to the experience. And Pasta maker Ron?s rarepresence at service was a treat, sharing the intricacies of making the perfect gnocchi and adding additional color to the livelydinner conversation.\n\nWe opted for the wine pairing, which I would highly recommend. The pairings took us around the world tounusual and unique wine regions. Each pairing perfectly complimented the course, and I learned so much from the expertsommelier, who welcome all of our nerdy fermentation questions.\n\nWhen the reservations open up, run don?t walk, to get yourspot. I?m excited to welcome this unique experience to the city and cannot wait to get back!\n\nTo the reviewer calling this?slightly better Olive Garden?, what OG are you frequenting? If this is the level of cuisine you?re getting, I?ve gotta add itto the list. Read more
