We were staying at the Hilton garden and ordered from this Papa John's at 729pm on line. The email confirmed we would receive... our order within 26 minutes. After 2 hour's I tried calling and was on hold with an automated voice for 20 minutes before I hungup. I tried calling back several times and could not get through. At 1130pm we went to bed and never received our order. Ofcourse they charged our credit card and didn't take off the charge. We checked the status of the order several times and it saidpreparing all night and this morning. We are from Iowa and have never had this experience with a Papa John's. This is fraud totake someone's money and not give the product. I want my money back now. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.Thanks Papa John's my husband and I didn't eat supper last night. Tuesday 10/18/2022 we still have not received our refund forfood we didn't get. You can only get through to people who hardly speak English and put us on hold then hang up. Dishonest and shady. Pizza is edible but inconsistent. But to eat it, you have to actually get it. One delivery (Door Dash)... never made it. After missing most of a meeting because I was either trying to talk to the driver or talking to the manager wecanceled the order (by mutual agreement) because my hour long meeting the pizza was catering was over. Manger said I wouldreceive a credit. Waited but eventually had to dispute the charge. First time I ever had to do that. Never again. Read more
Ordered a pizza for delivery over 1 hour ago with an estimated delivery time of 33 minutes. Still have not received my order and... the driver is now supposed to arrive 19 minutes past closing time from a location only 5 minutes away. Ridiculous. Update:website now says my order had arrived 9 minutes ago which is not true because I still haven?t received it. Will never spend mymoney here again. Read more
Pizza an hour late so we call to find out and no one answers until we act like we are going to place another order...magically,... someone answers the phone and upon inquiring as to the status of our pizzas we were told they are simply waiting on a deliverydriver to return. That's it. No apology no nothing. Stop doing business here until they get their act together people. Thisplace stinks. Read more
Absolutely the worst experience I have EVER had. My order never arrived. After trying to reach someone for nearly an hour... (beyond the original hour wait) I went to the store to just pick everything up myself.... and the store is completely closed.Customer service can do nothing to process a refund. They say it must be done by the store... the one that is closed...unreal!!!! Never again will this company get a dime of my money. Read more
I have lived in Austin for a long time and have been used to the wonderful "southern hospitality" me and my father are... delivering food to people all across Austin for the day and he asks me to order a pizza from papa johns his favorite pizzaplace. After a long day of work were going to spend our winnings on a pizza i accidentally choose mlk Blvd. and it orders. Myfather wants to get home on time and we have to get through traffic downtown Austin traffic its pretty bad. Were dealing withthe traffic and were gonna be late to home. I'm thinking "at least the city looks beautiful which it does i grew up here andAustin is such a nice city with a whole lot of spirit. We finally arrive to the pizza place and i go in there. I say "hello howare u doing today i ordered a pizza and the app says its ready" .I was very polite my father raised me to have good manners andwhat i get in return is terrible. I get yelled at by some middle aged probably divorced white lady starts yelling at me to waitand to stop pressuring her. She's loading boxes one dudes making a pizza and I see my pizza on a desk and there's someone justsitting there doing nothing. I once again say "excuse me mam my pizza is right there if you could just hand it to me and sheyells again. I wait for about 7 minutes and finally I get my pizza i get outside and my mood is completely ruined. Quality of product at this location is very inconsistent. You never know what you are going to get, very hit or miss. Received... my order today and it was so under cooked that it was white on the bottom. They sent out another and it was somewhat better. Youcan see the difference between the two in the attached photos. Also, wondering why all of the responses from Papa John's are onthe 5 star reviews?? Shouldn't they be more focused on customers who are not satisfied? Odd. Read more
Two hours still no food. One more 1-star rating in a long line. I feel so bad for the workers, you know they?re overwhelmed,... overworked, and grossly underpaid. The owner of this establishment should be arrested and sued for fraud. I can?t understand howPJ corporate allows this place to still operate. But then I remember the founder and think ?oh yeah, they?d much rather be theworst customer service experience on the planet than pay more than slave wages, we?ll just bank on people not requesting refundsfor food not delivered.?
