Newk's makes a good sandwich.  I had the Newk's Club. There was generous deli ham and turkey that was crazy, tasty.  This is a... hot sandwich, which surprised me, so the lettuce and tomatoes weren't particularly lifelike.  But I enjoyed having the meltedcheese on the bread. I guess it's a trade off.  The bread is firm, with a solid crunch. Loved it! Their cole slaw has a mildflavor and was very fresh. On to the strawberry cake: DO NOT ORDER. after seeing this place a few times I decided to give it a try. Overall the food was decent but I don't think I will return. I... decided to try three menu items first I had to pepperoni pizza. Decent sauce flavor the pizza had way too much sauce on iteverything just ran off. The crust with medium Chris but too chewy and doughy to really enjoy it. Their coleslaw is absolutelybland that I would give one star didn't need some flavor. The shrimp po boy is also nothing to write home about. Decent sizedshrimp that were plentiful on the sandwich but overall not much flavor to anything. Read more
