I really like modern market eatery. It?s a great spot to meet a friend for lunch because they have a wide variety of options... including many for someone who?s gluten-free like me. My favorite thing to order is the lemongrass tuna bowl. It always justhits the spot and it?s the right amount of refreshing And comforting. On a recent trip with my husband, he ordered the pizza andI got my standard order. Both of the items were enjoyable, but the only issue we had was with dessert- the Nutella rice crispytreat. The first one we received was stale, and we told the cashier and they got us a replacement. It was also stale. Theyrefunded our money, but it would?ve been nice to have been able to get a dessert that we were excited about that was not stale. Read more

Love this place. Didn?t know they had one closer to us. We?ve been going downtown and always stop by to grab that street corn... pizza. It?s addicting. Tastes like corn in a cup on a pizza. The house lemonade is always great too. Nice staff. Very friendlyand efficient. Read more

Good food and friendly staff. I had never been here but will definitely be back to try a couple of more items. They could clean... the dining area a little better as a lot of the tables were dirty. Also not sure why but there were buckets of what looked likelemonade sitting out on tables with ladles also just laying on the table, kinda unsanitary IMO. Read more

So nice to have a fresh salad while travelling. Thai coconut sald was pretty tasty. Chicken was a little overdone and could have... used a touch more dressing. But the peach, ginger lemonade was delicious. Tofu is a bit salty, pizza seemed fine, rice crispytreat was delicious. People were accommodating and friendly! Read more

The Ahi Tuna Nicoise salad was superb! One of the very best I?ve had. Fresh, filling, tasty ingredients and a wonderfully... addicting dressing - a perfect citrusy lemon vinaigrette. The food is a lot better than I expected. ???????? I say this because from the time I stood to order I regretted going in... there. All the staff behind the counter and food prep folks didn't seem to have any joy in life. They were so dry in attitudes,almost rude. Also, the restroom needs a lot of attention. I normally think these two issues, the pleasant attitude of staffsand cleanliness of a place shows the good or poor ability of a manager in position. I can always count on this place for a nourishing meal! I love trying their seasonal soups- today I got the green chicken chili... soup and that one definitely clears the sinuses! Well, we heeded other reviews and did NOT order steak with EXCELLENT success. Staff was excellent. The Farmer Salad was classic... salad with lots of interesting bits and bites. The Curry Salmon bowl was perfect in proportion and taste. The cucumberlemonade was refreshing. Surprisingly the carrot lemonade was a thicker, richer lemonade. Like beef is to chicken in a ricebowl. It has ginger or cayenne or something for a tiny bit of kick. Mmmmmm! The Belgian Desert Waffle with Nutella andstrawberries didn?t quite look like the picture on the menu (batch) but the taste did not disappoint. How they keep the wafflecrispy under all that stuff I?ll never know. Recommend. Read more
