Walked in on a Sunday and truly loved the experience. Everything was fresh and tasty. I started with an amazing guacamole, the... Chiliquiles were phenomenal, and the house made jalapeno garlic salsa brought a tear to my eye. Especially on the fried papas onthe side. The only negative I can say, was the Charro beans were a little bland. But everything else was a great breakfastexperience. Come and continue making this renamed Austin original a place to be! Tacos were full and tasty especially "The Escobar". Price per taco wasn't bad either. I'd also suggest "The Padre". Will... definitely be back eventually. Read more

Great tacos and always steady quality. My favorites are their breakfast tacos that are served all day!

We ordered four tacos (the shroom, the padre, the slowrider and the del mar). The fish on the del mar was overcooked and dried... out. All the tacos were underwhelming. We also had the bacon queso fries which tasted old and reheated. Read more

Since my trip to Austin 4 weeks ago, I have not stopped talking about how good the tacos from here are. I was only in town for 3... days, and I ended up eating here 5 times. It was the first thing I ever ate in Austin ever and it was the last right beforeleaving. Coming from Colorado, I honestly expected a similar type of taco to be presented to me which was small and somewhatbland, only being flavored by the toppings. To my surprise, I got the opposite. I ended up starting with The Slowrider that I amconvinced had a half pound of braised beef in it that had more flavor than any other braised beef I've ever had. The cotija andcilantro complimented it perfectly and when I was done, I instantly went to order another. In the 3 days I got more slowriders,The Old School and The Padre. All equally amazing and packed with flavor and portions. Price wise to me was also pretty greatgiven the amount of food you actually get per taco. I get the same prices here for 1/3 of the filling. The service to me wasalso great as they would bring out your food to your personally and always were friendly and able to make modifications to yourtacos as you seem fit. The setting was the typical food truck scene with picnic tables out in front with decent shade from treesand rain with a smaller parking lot out in front making parking a bit easier if you can get a spot. I really can't wait to eatthese tacos again, and I highly recommend the same to anyone else passing through the area and looking for a quick bite. Read more

Fast service; Cheap prices; Huge tacos: that's what I would describe this food truck as. The portions are bigger than most... places around town. The food is delicious. I got the Fried Avocado and it was pretty unique. Never had such a taco before. Ialso got The Padre which is pulled pork, pineapple, and avocado. The food is fresh and authentic, with a unique twist in everytaco. I was highly satisfied with my visit and I'll be back! Read more
