This is a good McDonald's. McDonald's is pretty consistent across the board, however, there is one in South Austin that is... terrible. This one is good. They have reopened the inside post pandemic, which is a big win as you can go inside again. Theytend to encourage you to order on screens, but you don't need to create an account for this. It's a little weird if you want topay cash because you have to have it print out your receipt and then you have to go up to the counter and wait for someone toarrive to pay as there's not someone standing there as they did back in the old days as cashiers. It's not a terrible system,the only thing I really don't like about it is that you have to ask for your cup if you want to go ahead and fill your cupbefore you get your food. Which means waiting because there are no cashiers. I'm of the opinion. You should be able to fill upyour cup while you wait for your food and have a sip of the tasty beverage that you just paid for. Maybe these kinks will beworked out as the automation level increases. Read more
