I've been a long time customer at this location and have never had a bad experience with the food or staff here. The food is... always fresh and delicious, they're always accommodating, and is the only restaurant I will purposely drive all the way to fromliberty hill just to order the caldo. The queso is also enjoyable, with a very slight heat to it, but never bland. I have alwayshad excellent service here, and even if there are occasional language barriers with my children, they leave happy every time. Read more
Food was great . Majority of the wait staff was awesome. Only complaint is that they will cut you off after 2 drinks if you... don't order a complete "meal" . Its is understandable that you must eat,but they don't consider appetizers as part of that whichwas kind of weird. Read more

As far as Tex Mex food goes you won't find a better restaurant than Maudie's. They have been providing consistently great... quality, tasty Mexican food for years and years. Their exceptional salsa and chips start every meal. I've never beendisappointed in any entree. My latest outing included Rockin RuthAnn's burritos with rice, beans and a side of pickledjalapenos. The mango margarita paired nicely with it. Nothing fancy inside, but wait staff is usually friendly and attentive,plus you'll never run out of chips, salsa or non-alchohic drinks.
