I don?t normally take time to write reviews. I?m in Austin for work and was craving quality Poke. This is the spot forsure.... Prices are a little steep and I wish there were a few more options in the way of protein; but all in all I?ve never walked awayunhappy. Any spot can make a poke bowl, but not many spots can make a great one! I recently came to Malibu Poke and was quite satisfied... with my experience. I tried a few bowls such as: - Spicy Chili Tuna: marinated cucumbers, serrano, red onion, micro herbs, redchili thread, crispy shallot - for those who want something spicy ($13) - 3.75/5 - Tropical Chimichurri Shrimp: scallion,carrot, mango, jicama, micro herbs - for those who want something light and refreshing ($13) - 3.5/5 - Red Miso Salmon: jicama,furikake, scallion, micro herbs, arare, serrano, crispy garlic - a well balanced poke bowl with various flavors. My fav!($13.50) - 4.375/5 - Bonito Ailoi Tuna: serrano pepper, bonito flakes, micro herbs, avocado, toasted coconut, crispy garlic -for those who want something more creamy ($13) - 4/5 - Avocado & Chips: a good size portion. Can't go wrong with this for anappetizer. ($6) - 4/5 - Garlic Chili Edamame: another appetizer you can't go wrong with if you want something more light. ($6)- 3.625/5 All in all, the bowls were very well made. You can tell that the ingredients are higher quality and the portions arepretty filling. Come here pretty often when I grocery shop in the area. Staff are always nice and food is always good quality. It?s fun to build... your own bowl and their menu bowls are pretty good as well! I love the interior in here, and it?s always super clean. Read more
