This is a straightforward, no-frills, Mediterranean (Syrian) restaurant, with a focus on gyro and gyro plates. The menu... reflects this simply and directness, as does the interior. The food is pretty great, especially since they have managed tobalance the sauce, meat, vegetables and pita such that it is not greasy, the sauce is not runny, the vegetables are fresh andthe meat remains moist. The feta cheese sauce in the gyro is a little heavy and lands more on the "cheese" side. The serviceis behind the counter and friendly - but that is all, as the customer is expected to do the rest. In fact - therein lies themain weakness of this establishment: it FEELS like a direct descendant of a food truck - replete with a food truck serviceexperience. Read more

Absolutely love this place every time I go.The service is fantastic! They?re attentive to customers and have a wide selection. I... have been vegetarian for years, and being Lebanese I have missed shawarma and gyro meat in my diet. Surprisingly, Lazeez offersvegan substitutes for both which is very uncommon for a local Mediterranean place. Additionally very reasonable prices. Overalla very well-rounded restaurant. Read more

Fresh, fast, and filling. What a great spot right off of 620. The baba ghanoush is delicious and the baklava is a must. We got... the mixed plate of gyro and chicken which is easily split between two along with the dolmas and baba ghanoush. Maybe order anextra pita to share. It was all delicious and I look forward to returning again soon! Thank you. Read more

Glad I came here. I go to Mediterranean restaurants around town and this one certainly more authentic than the others.... Everything including the garlic sauce (did not taste like ranch like other places) tasted so fresh. You could taste thefreshness in the meat. Hummus was creamy like it should be and not grainy. My husband and I tried this for the first time this evening and we will definitely be going back. The mixed chicken and gyro... plate, and the mixed kabob plate were delicious. The hummus, garlic sauce, and tomato sauce tasted so fresh and paired well withthe meats. The pistachio baklava was absolutely amazing! The staff was kind and courteous as well. Do yourself a favor and givethis place a try! Read more
