I was at a conference nearby and decided the hotel lunch didn't look super enticing. Took a walk and wound up at K-Bop. This... is a cute, little hole-in-the-wall Korean spot with classics like Bulgogi and Bibimbap as well as noodle soups and other tastylooking dishes. I ordered the Kimchi Jjigae. It was a spicy red soup that included sausage, spam, noodles, and of course, kimchi! It also came with a side of steamed rice topped with an over-easy egg. This was a perfect lunch for a cold, rainy day. The soup was flavorful and had the right ratio of veggies to meats. The rice with egg on the side was a great contrast to thehot soup. The staff was also very friendly. I would LOVE a place like this in South Austin but am happy to come back to thedrag again to eat at K-Bop. Read more

I was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to try some place different for dinner as I've tried most of the bbq/tex mex... restaurants in the area. I was very pleased with K-Bop. It's a small/cozy little spot that seemed to be really popular amongthe college students. The ordering process was simple and efficient (you order and pay on the screen and they print you areceipt with a ticket number). Took about 7 minutes to get my food after ordering. I went with the spicy chicken bulgogi bowland a Korean shrimp tempura roll. The spicy chicken bowl was good and very filling. I didn't care for the Korean shrimptempura roll. All and all this is a great place if you're looking for a quick and simple delicious meal. Read more

Tasty, quality Korean food very close to the UT campus and ATT conference center hotel. It's a little whole-in-the-wall place,... with 3 ordering screens and a handful of indoor seats. 3, 1-2 person tables outside. It was super easy to pick my food andoptions and pay at the station. They appeared to do a lot of takeout and order ahead business. On ordering, the text said10-15 minutes, but food was done in 10 or less. The bulgogi beef was very tasty. The bowl was substantial enough that I hadleftovers. It was clean, staff was friendly. The Korean pop music was a fun addition. It reminded me of my last trip toKorea. Price was about $20 for the bowl, extra rice, soda and tip. For non-fried, non-fast food, it was $ well spent. I loveBulgogi, and this was tasty. The chicken katsu also looked good. It was good enough that I might head back once more on my triphere. If not, I'll definitely hit it up again on my next trip to Austin. Read more

Simple, everyday meal stop for price conscious people. Great thing is, you don't have to give up quality. The staff is... hardworking, attentive, and prepares the meals in a way true to its Korean style. Read more

spicy chicken bulgogi bowl is a must try from my order. Fried chicken dumplings and tofu kimbop tasted okay! Overall taste okay... & prices reasonable. Read more

The kimbap (Korean sushi roll) wasn?t bad, actually good! However, the bibimbap was terrible. Very few pieces of meat, a lot of... raw veggies and the condiment was too little to feel any flavour. Perhaps the other dishes are better. Read more

Better than I expected. The bowl is too big and thus filling. It's not just a lot of rice; it's a lot of meat and vegetables... too. The egg did its job as an adhesive between the different parts. The beef and sauce were too sweet, so that would be my mainreason for no fifth star. But for a fast food joint, this is easily a place I'd go back to. It's probably my favorite place inthe Drag. Flew over the area. View was very good. 10/10 would recommend. Jokes aside, I've been coming here for years and the food is... very good and reasonably priced. You can get a meal for under $10 here which is pretty rare for Austin nowadays. I get theirbulgogi kimbap all the time and also tried the pork katsu kimbap which is also very very good (in fact, I'd say it's more thanvery good, it's straight fire). I haven't tried much of their other food yet but I'm sure it must be very goodtoo. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the food because every time I come here, I'm too hungry to think about taking apicture lol. Read more
