Had the chicken tinga rice bowl and tacos which were surprisingly good. Our food came out quickly and the portions were great.... However, it was difficult to communicate with the servers and the food was a bit pricey for what it is ($26 rice bowl and $20taco plate). Read more
What happened? We came here on a Friday for lunch, around 11:30AM. The wait was 25 minutes, which was short for Joann's. On... Saturday nights, wait times can exceed 60 minutes. When we sat there at the bar we were initially given only one menu and theservice was overall pretty slow: asking for our order, providing utensils, checking back in with us. The food was delicious;however, I did find a piece of plastic in my food. I alerted the manager who promptly offered a refund on that item. However, onthe bill it was not refunded. Our server did then remove it from the bill, but had I not checked I would have paid. Overall, theservice is a little lacking, but the food is good. Read more
Had a great waiter, Ethan. The food and drinks were amazing. I highly suggest the Barbacoa Plate. I ordered the Red Mole Chicken... Thighs, it was good too although I think some Fresca cheese on the massaged kale or rice would have set it off. The tortillasand chips were the best I’ve had in a long time if not ever. Had a lovely evening dining on South Congress. The ambiance at this restaurant is comfy and inviting. Cocktails and outdoor bar... were classy! Loved my meal at Joann's. I was a fan of the patty melt, might be one of the best ones I've ever had. You also need to order the... biscuits, they'll take up a chunk of your appetite but they are so worth it! We also tried the grilled shrimp entree and werepleasantly surprised by the combination. Came in for some appetizers and drinks. The queso is fire with the homemade Tortilla chips and the hummus is some of the best I... have had. Drinks were well made and not lacking Alcohol only very small for the price. The patio was clean and comfortable and arelaxed vibe permeates the area lending a at home vibe. Our first time here. We honestly just came for pozole and look at what happened. Neena was great! Super attentive, answered all... the 21 questions we had!
