We all know Mopac after work drive time can be good most of the time and absolutely horrible on other days. I highly recommend... just take a break and relax at this IHOP location. I arrived around 6 pm, started with an excellent English Breakfast Hot Tea.Then jumped onto a Zoom meeting that I had planned to attend by phone and just listen in the car. But I decided to use IHOPfree wifi with my laptop, given the traffic. The waitress seated me immediately at a corner table with electric plug, knowing Iwanted to use the WiFi. It was super easy to login, but I don't recommend to use your work identity on your laptop. I used mypersonal Google identity with my personal Gmail select personal. Wala. I could see the presentation screen, sign in forattendance and participate when the meeting was going into small group break out rooms. This IHOP has a large backroom forlarge meetings. It is quiet (during M-F drive time 4pm - 10 pm) and is very clean. After my meeting, I logged out of mymeeting, ordered a salad ???? and did a little work on my computer for emails, then logged out and enjoyed my late dinner. Myonly complaint is that the raw, sliced mushrooms were not fresh and the avocado slices were a tad ripe for my liking. The saladdressing was fantastic. I will be stopping by another time but won't get a salad. I just wasn't in the mood for burgers orbreakfast items. I might try a different dinner entre or next time be in the mood to have breakfast for dinner. This is agreat meetup place for friends who live on the opposite side of Austin from where you live. I never post reviews. I think this is my 3rd ever. But this one is worth it - We ordered take-out from iHop. It was said to be... ready at 9:47 AM. We got there around 9:55 AM. The waitress who kept checking on us, never went to check on the food. We finallyreceived our food at 10:38 AM. This is after I started to get a little more pushy. The waitress told me ?I don?t even know whatto say to you right now?. She got our VERY COLD food immediately and literally threw it all onto the counter and walked away. Donot eat at this location. I was told I was bougie because I ordered lemons and water. My waffle came out late and cold, cold enough to were my butter... didn't melt. When the check came she had to mention that's not enough money. She was also apparently the manager. If it weren'tfor my friends I would have left after the water. She was also sitting in the booth next to ours absolutely covered in personalbelongings and food plates. I hate Austin Read more
Late breakfast mid-week - perfect! I had the pancake combo with blueberry lemon ricotta crepe - yum! They did the bacon extra... crispy like I requested and the coffee refills were timely. Two thumbs up! Read more
This ihop used to be ran a lot better then it is now. The only good thing about it is our server Tania we have been coming here... with her for over a year now and she does amazingly every time she is fast efficient and always has a smile on her face nomatter how busy or hectic the restaurant is. I can?t say the same for the manager or shift leader whoever she is. White olderlady with shaved head I think her name was sherry she is the rudest person I?ve ever met. Not only was she sitting eating theentire time while there was a huge lunch rush but I caught her in the restroom taking some very risky photos while her team wasrubbing around like chickens with their heads cut off. I just looked at her and she laughed it off and walked away. When I cameback she was sitting in the same spot on her phone still. I went on a Sunday just before noon. The wait was 45 min before we were seated. Seemed busy with not enough servers. Food as... always was good and our server was running around like a headless chicken trying her best. Read more
