Want something different than your usual? Then try Honey Pig. I really enjoyed the experience. We went on a Tuesday night so it... wasn't busy. We were seated immediately. Once seated we the server placed all kinds of different goodies on our table. Theserver explained everything to us with great details and even made recommendations. For the two of us we order the beef ribs andpork belly. Our meal was accompanied with rice, soup and some sort of egg. I'm big on texture so wasn't a fan of the egg ( toosoft). The meat was cooked well right at our table. The ribs were perfect. The pork belly was good and spicy but I ate aroundthe fatty portions. I'll definitely return and will make sure to select a leaner cut of meat. Read more

Decided to try this new Korean BBQ place on a Friday night. We had a table of 4 and arrived at 7:50pm to put our name down. We... walked around the H Mart supermarket and bubble tea shop in the center, waiting for a table to be available. After 45 minutes,we get a text saying our table was ready. They sit us down and place side dishes, sauces on the table right away. We ordered thepremium combo which was perfect for us 4 but can definitely feed 5 people. It comes with pork, beef, seafood varieties, and alsosteamed egg and soy bean soup and 3 rices. Also ask for lettuce to make lettuce wraps. We also got the seafood pancake. We lovedthis new kbbq place. The wait was long but well worth it because we got to explore the complex. For $130 premium combo, it wasnot bad at all. I would definitely. Come again. The total for premium combo + seafood pancake was $155 and after tips is $186for 4 people. Read more

Still pretty new, this is our favorite kbbq place in Austin! We got there around 12:40, and didn?t really need to wait very... long. We ordered the premium combo, and really enjoyed all of it! Our waiter, Josh, cooked for us, and I definitely think itmade a difference. I?m pretty sure we would have overcooked some of the cuts of meat without him. It?s $129.99 for the premiumcombo, but honestly it?s worth it and probably the best deal. We will be back! Read more

Newly opened and still going through some growing pains. Dani was a great server! I tried to give him a tip, but he said he... couldn't accept it, because tips are split at the end of the night. Flavorful meats on the $89 Beef Combo. Rice was a littlemushy, but still edible. Traditional side items were also served with meats. First time visiting a Honey Pig, since we were atthe Honey Pig in Ellicott City, Maryland, back in the day. Treat yourself, your family and friends! Read more

Spicy buckwheat noodle, corn cheese, the beef combo (beef rib, steak, boneless rib, bulgogi and brisket) and spicy pork bulgogi... (always cooked by them) were great! Spicy pork belly was good With the restaurant just opening we tried an off-hour to avoidlines. Arrived at 4:00 but they were closed between 3:30-5:00 to clean up after the lunch rush. Managed to put our name down at4:25 and got seated shortly after 5:00. The line to put your name on the list started to get chaotic around 4:45 and by the timewe left at 6:30 there was a three hour wait! Staff was really fast and friendly given the chaos. Didn't take long to get foodand start cooking once we were seated. 9/10 Read more

I?m so psyched for new KBBQ in Austin, and their soft opening did not disappoint. And it was PACKED, so I guess I?m not the only... one who?s excited! Great selection of well-seasoned meats, excellent banchan (my favorite was the fish cake), and awesomekimchi pancakes. We got the premium combo which is enough meat for 5-6 people (the beef & pork combos are for 3-4) because wewanted to try everything. My favs were the bulgogi and the galbi, but everything was fresh and flavorful. Honey Pig is BYOB forthe time being so pick up some soju at H-mart next door before you stop by. Read more

The food was fantastic but due to it being the grand opening they were all over the place and understaffed. They forgot about us... and didn?t get us water for 20 minutes although we paged them 4 times. We ordered the beef combo but they didn?t give us thesoup and egg until we were pretty much finished. We also didn?t get our rice until we asked for it In a to go container. Theyare understaffed at the moment and due to this we will come back when everything is a bit more organized. Read more

Grand opening today so a lot of kinks need to be sorted out. The waiter forgot our order and didn?t realize until about 45... minutes after so food took over an hour to arrive. We ordered the premium combo, but then they forgot our pork and seafood so ittook another 30 minutes. We had fun cooking our own meat and the meat quality was excellent (especially liked brisket and beeftongue), but probably best to come back in a few months after they are better staffed. Read more
