Ordered a single (double) patty and matcha lemonade. Burger was a bit more salty than expected. Not sure what made it so salty.... They forgot my drink and I had to ask for it and they had to verify that I ordered it. Drink was good. Not sure I would go backjust based on the burger alone. Read more

5/5 purely for the cookie alone. Get a cold brew from the bar right next to it (called Drink). Chew and sip and savor. I don?t... what they put in the cookie but it?s got a slight teddy graham snack flavor in it?s melty interior! I?m not a big gooey cookiecenter person but I make an exception for this cookie. When I?m Austin again, I?m beelining for this cookie. We also ordered apasta salad, the poke, and fried chicken sandwich. I think the poke was my Favorite although portions small - but I wantedsomething light after days of BBQ and tacos. Your goal in visiting here is the cookie; the food is accessory, but still tasty toeat if you?re also hungry. Read more

Customer service has since reached out and refunded me the duplicate charge. Much appreciated. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Had a very... disappointing experience. Some of the food was great, some was meh. But the most disappointing thing was being charged twice fora relatively expensive meal. I?ve reached out to the restaurant at least four times at this point with no response or even theability to leave a message. Will definitely not be eating here again. Read more

poached egg breakfast bowl was tasty. the tri tip is where they lost me. Lightly seared on the outside but so very raw on the... inside. Hurt my stomach and did not like to chew this. looks pretty though. I feel like they don?t have proper kitchenequipment or cook at this location, just assembling the food. Read more

I came here for the breakfast burrito, but I was a little late for breakfast - so I went for the Reuben sammie - boy was I happy... with that choice! That had to be the most delicious Reuben sandwich on the planet earth! The peppers and sauerkraut complimentedthe salty flavors of the perfectly cooked meat and melted cheese. Oh and the spicy cucumbers on the side were heaven. Also, Icouldn?t leave without trying the infamous monster cookie - quite possibly the most delicious cookie I?ve ever eaten. You needthis cookie in your life! Buy a few for the road, because you?ll be dreaming about it for days to come!! Read more

I?ve already written about how Emmer & Rye is my favourite restaurant in the country, so I was chomping at the bit to check out... Henbit when I heard it opened. They have a limited menu, with a lot of the items that are almost direct copycats of some E&Rstaples (like the short rib with sweet potato). I opted for the pork sando, a ham & cheese kolache, and a monster cookie. Letme start by saying the kolache was life-changing. I did not know a kolache could taste like that. They use some porchetta-likemeat instead of your standard deli meat, which really elevated it. The pork sando was great, but the acidity of theslaw/kraut/pickled carrots almost overwhelmed the fattiness of the pork and chorizo, and the sourdough roll made it difficult toeat the whole thing without it falling apart. The monster cookie was good, but too similar to Levain/Chip in NYC to reallyimpress me. I really enjoyed my meal here, but will probably stick to E&R in the future and only return for that bomb kolache. Read more
