It is good! The lobster bisque was really good but a small cup for $16 is a little too much if it is not a white cloth table... service. Bowl was $24!. Anyway - it is good seafood. I had the Connecticut lobster roll, crispy, well presented, just the rightamount of spices. The place is beautifully decorated for the holidays but the salon is one of a diner feel. Nothing wrong withthat, just the prices are on a different dimension... I would recommend you try it at least once! Read more

I really wanted to like this place… Ordinarily, I love fish and chips. However, this place has made me reconsider one of my... favorite dishes. The fish arrived warm, not hot. The batter was doughy and the fish was flavorless and dry! The chips were notfresh, likely had been sitting for a while. At 24 dollars, I had high expectations… Let’s just say, I would have been betteroff at Long John Silvers. If you’re thinking about coming here, DON’T! Read more

Came for an early Father’s Day lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The design is simple and reflects the east coast fishing... theme. I enjoyed the family history they incorporated into the restaurant. Gives it a genuine personality. The lobster roll andfish/chips was great! Being from Hawaii, I’m used to great seafood but this was completely different. Blew my taste buds away! Will return to take advantage of their specials. ???????? Read more

We've been to Garbo's a few times in the past and I think their Connecticut lobster roll is amazing! I will say I was... disappointed on my last trip as they skimped on the lobster. I asked the server about it and he said they weigh it, so everysandwich should get the same amount. Unfortunately mine didn't. The Brussels sprouts are really good and we do like the friedcalamari. I ordered a watermelon margarita on the last trip and it was good too, although it's more watery and not as much pulpas most watermelon margaritas. The place is expensive, so you should know that going in. However... The lobster rolls aredelicious! This location has a really nice place for the kids to play outside. They've recently added some turf, and no longerhave the tire fillings. I've previously rated a five-star, but the last lobster roll fell way below expectations. Read more

Love it here! Before this I’ve only ever gotten food from their food truck but was finally able to stop in at the restaurant.... Good service, great food. The calamari was good and the lobster rolls were delicious as always and at a reasonable price. Besure to stop at Connors Creamery ice cream stand before you leave! Read more

New favorite place for clam chowder in Austin. It was perfectly creamy and tasty. I think it had bacon bits on top and those... added a little bit of crunch. Lobster rolls were good but not great. They came with a generous portion of fries. Burger waspretty standard. The service was really quick and friendly. I did show up without a reservation on a Saturday evening and thewait was about 30 min for a table of three. They had a cozy seated waiting area so that was a nice touch. Read more

We came here last night for our Christmas Eve dinner. It was just my husband and I and we did not make reservations but we... showed up just before 5, when they open, and we were able to be seated right away. They had a limited menu due to theholiday. We ordered the Maine and Connecticut lobster rolls with fries. I didn't think the pricing was too much. It was about$22 for each lobster roll and it came with a side. The place I usually go to for a lobster roll charges $18 and it doesn't comewith a side. I was disappointed though because the texture of the lobster was really chewy and the taste was fishy and notfresh. I think they should have shredded the lobster to give it better texture. We ordered the chocolate torte and somestrawberry soft serve with nutella. My husband thought the torte was over priced but I really liked it, so I thought it wasworth it. He loved the soft serve. The service we got was really good. Our server had us and a large table for the first partof the evening and I never felt like we waited very long for our food, water, or any service. Everyone was really friendly andthe restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We were really grateful to have somewhere fun to go to dinner on ChristmasEve. We will have to come back and try their menu when it is not limited and see if we have better luck with different menuitems. Read more

The restaurant has a lovely patio which was perfect given the warm December weather. The restaurant and privatedining room was superbly decorated for our party…it was warm and inviting and really felt like we were hosting a party athome. The food was absolutely delicious…our fave?…the lobster rolls of course!! The craft cocktails were delicious…mixedand served to perfection. Thrilled that we were able to meet the Garbo girls…their kindness, and hospitality made our eveninga very memorable one. Can’t wait to come back and try the other great seafood options on the menu!!
