Reviews for Epoch Coffee - Village in Austin, TX

The female cashier had an extremely rude attitude once I left no tip on an already overpriced $8 coffee. Maybe Epoche should pay... their workers a livable wage so that their employees aren?t publicly shaming customers who don?t want to spend $9-10 on one cupof coffee. I?ve started to come here since starting work here, and usually leave a tip. This is the first time I haven?t and wasberated for it. Thank you, you no longer have my money. Read more

I already liked this spot (all locations) for working and chilling but my recent experience with a barista at Village went above... and beyond. They have notes on kindness all over the shop and this crew seems to be living those values. I\'ll just say younever know what someone is going through and sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make a bigger impact than yourealize.\nOh and of course the drinks (Half Mojo duh) and bites (cardamom pillows!) taste great. The atmosphere and musicconsistently gives me \"old\" Austin fun vibes. Village has plenty of interior space plus a cool courtyard area so it\'s goodfor meet ups/friendly dates too.\nAnyway, that\'s my heartfelt and functional review of a place I\'ve enjoyed for a really longtime now :) Read more

Great atmosphere and solid espresso. Some like to talk, some to study. I\'m playing on my phone before a movie. Whatever you\'re... doing you can do here. I would say the second biggest strength is its space which allows many different groups to co-exist. Thebiggest strength of course is the espresso. Read more

Love this location. Drinks are always fantastic. The open area in back is such a great place to relax alone or with friends

We stopped by today, as soon as the world unfroze, between errands for some much needed coffee. Eric was friendly, helpful and... efficient! He described the selection available today (keep in mind Austin had frozen weather problems) and other coffee shopswe passed, one in the same shopping center, we not even open! I got a coffee and my spouse got a cold brew (ask about Mojo-it\'s everything), both were perfect, just what we needed on a stressful, busy, morning after 7 days in the house due to frozenweather. Eric greeted each customer with enthusiasm and made us feel welcomed and appreciated, it was a great experience, Iwill definitely be back!\nP.S. I saw a t-shirt in the window, I think I\'ll have to get next time! Read more

Great cool little hip coffee spot by Austin standards. Run by cool people, has enough seating and good collection of coffees and... teas. The best part though might be that this is the only place I ever saw baristas using aeropresses along with other coffeeequipment, I thought that was really cool. They have cold brew and matcha latte. The prices are actually low as compared toother coffee joints such as Houndstooth. Read more

Awesome vibe here with lots of parking. Great music and tons of seating (by tons, I mean it\'s the most I\'ve ever seen in a... coffee shop). I just got drop coffee and it was exceptional. They use Ritual coffee which is a great coffee from SF. Staff is sofriendly and seem to know a lot of the people who come in. Definitely coming back! Read more
