My family is from Pittsburgh, since I was a child I have had high expectations for Pizza. The stars aligned on the day I came... into this specific Double Dave's, according to them they were short staffed- but whatever magic they put into what I ordered wassomething that truly reminded me of my family. I live nearly an hour's worth of traffic away from this location, but I am whollyconsidering coming back just to see if it's just as great as that day. I want to give 5 stars as this is the only DD that kept it's buffet near me since covid. The selection was thin when we arrived... but I quickly realized only 2 people were working. One took orders and helped in the kitchen when they could, the other workedthe kitchen then helped the front when they could. The buffet refills were slow but they filled it fresh when then could. 5stars for not giving up a staple of DD even in tough times of staffing. Thank you! Read more
