TLDR: Weird service, decent food, great cocktails. I went when DMC first opened but decided I needed a refresh on this "moody"... basement lounge. We had reservations for a party of four at 6:30 on a Saturday and it didn't seem too busy. The service isawful. The girls were like robots and it felt very unwelcoming. Our waitress forgot our drinks and the timing of our food wasodd. Even when one of the other waitresses dropped off some of our drinks she seemed out of it or something, really weird. Ontothe food. We started with the East Coast oysters. It's listed to have acqua pazza, chili oil, and chives but something about itwas very vinegary and over powering. Meh. Then we got the whipped ricotta and goat cheese. The pita that this comes with isdivine, everyone loved this dish. We also got the patatas bravas which were fine, could have used more crispiness. We split thelamb shank and pork chop for our mains. The meat in both dishes were amazing, tender and well seasoned. The plating makes itseem like the dishes were massive when they really weren't, it was mostly sides spread out. Since these are intended to beshared, it would've been nice if there was some creativity with the sides and they weren't all the same. Read more

The bar has cover charges on some days. We went on a Saturday night. They had a DJ that day. It just seemed like a overpriced... too loud expensive cocktail bar. The decor is really good. If you don't have a reservation it's difficult to find a spot or youmay have to stand at fhe bar. Read more

Interesting place. The food was really good, the service was just OK. The issue I had was that we made reservations for dinner... and we were seated at a table not much different than a end table, it was a weird height to eat off of and it was a benchseat?!? Also it was right by the restroom and kitchen entrance. It was super weird to be in a place that's dark and red andcontinuously be blinded by the kitchen door swinging open and fluorescent lights spilling out. Read more
This place has such a cool vibe. Definitely check it out if you're on a date or want to get dressed up and go out with the... girls. The food was great and the drinks were unique and tasty. The service was also really good! I will definitely be goingback! Read more
