Even tho they were understaffed the food came fast after the order. The lone waitress was moving as fast as she could and still... maintained her composure. 1601 I-35 Denny's location 5:30 AM, Sunday. Dante and Ally were friendly and gave good service. The cook was great! The... restaurant is very clean. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The neighborhood is much better than the other Denny's. ThisDenny's location is open, although with changed hours, so Google needs to fix this. I came here because the I-35 and St John'slocation said they were slammed, and had to re-stock, so they were not serving anyone. Even though that restaurant wascompletely empty. Glad I visited the 1601 I -35 location 3 miles just down the road. I will come here from now on. Read more
We just left this VERY busy location! Two people took care of us and did wonderful job! Despite being slammed, they were very... attentive and polite. His name was Dante but we did not get the lady's name, she was a bit older than the rest and had her hairpinned up. We appreciated all their hrd work! The food was also yummy! Read more
Neat building and location. Got to the restaurant about 10:30 pm. Business was slow, service was not great. They were turning... away customers starting at 11pm. I enjoyed my grand slam. We also ordered a tbone steak. Colors of the food were weird andtasteless. Read more

Visited last night. Was welcomed by Billy who took excellent care of us. Superb attention to detail. Had the Salmon Dinner last... night. Brought us tea to go, and containers for our leftovers. Explained the menu - answers our questions. We stopped by againtoday for lunch to have hamburgers. Billy attended to us again. Memorizing exactly what we wanted. Everything was exactly to ourliking. We had a great time. Plan to be traveling thru again with family in a couple of weeks. Will definately stop again.Such a cute Diner! Only took pic of my lunch leftovers. ???? Read more
Love the old school iconic look of this Denny's. The food turnded out great. Coffee got filled up before I asked. Why the... knock? While there I stuck listening to employee gossip. Felt like I know who hates who & who doesn't work by the time I left. Other note was that it appeared like my waitress is sick. Post Covid, I'm not sure she should be working with a leaky nose. She was a nice waitress but it had me leaving as soon as I could just so I won't get sick. Read more
This place really needs more help in the form of servers, if you like strong coffee they have it. Gloria took very good care of... us, she is thoughtful and has a nice personality.. The cinnamon pancake plate I had, I enjoyed them all. You know cooks arecooks, it?s better to find one who likes to cook vs one who needs a job. I think this one is ok. Read more
