Went to try the pies. Still have no idea how they are. Set for 20 minutes at our table before we were even acknowledged by a... server. Ordered one drink and set for another 15 minutes before just getting up and walking out the door. A total of 35 minuteswasted for the experience of speaking to a person once. We both work in the industry and I have for quite some time. There wasabsolutely no reason for the inattentiveness from the staff. There was no reason that a drink that takes about 45 seconds tomake never made it to us during the 15-minute wait. If you do happen to be in the mood for some really nice wooden chairs, thequality truly was superb. Highly recommended. Read more
Delicious food, an owner that has a fantastic personality and loves what he does (and has a delightful accent). I wish he had a... bigger place, but overall lovely. We ha e been here several times and consistently good service and food. Read more
Huge potential but be warned. Was excited to go. 1st, parking was a pain. 2nd, sat at the bar - HUGE mistake. Bartender... basically ignored us and didn't offer us menus. When we asked a question he actually got annoyed. Food was actually pretty good. Then bartenders did a shift change. New guy was really nice and pleasant BUT when we wanted to leave it took over 20 minutes toget our bill and pay. Shape up Darcy or you wont be long for Austin. I for one will NEVER return Follow-up: I talked to somefriends who tried Darcy's and they all agree - WORST SERVICE in AUSTIN. Read more
