I really do want to rate this place better than 2 stars but I can't in good conscience do that. The first issue was that after... ordering we waited at least 20 minutes for 3 churros. I understand it was busy and that you are making them fresh but 20+minutes is absurd for below average churros. We get one of each of the specialty churros, a date night, a Texas comfort, and acampfire and none of them were good. They look amazing but were lukewarm and tasted of nothing except the salted caramel thatcomes with the Texas comfort. On the website it states that the apple pie is homemade but it was almost certainly canned applepie filling. Overall was an incredibly disappointing experience especially after looking at other reviews and pictures, certainly not worth going out of your way for or paying $7 per churro. One last point is online it states they have a bluevelvet and jazmoon, neither of which are anywhere on the menu at the actual location. Read more

Very good. Glad we stopped by this food truck over a larger establishment when visiting Austin. Got the Date Night and the... churros were so good. Personally I should?ve asked for less caramel sauce since I think everything is sweet enough. But dough isfluffy and perfect. Ice cream was creamy and delicious! Glad to support a local business and hope they continue to thrive. Read more

DELICIOUS! I ordered the date night churro. 2 churros tossed in popcorn sugar with salted caramel vanilla ice cream and a dash... of sea salt. I?m a fan of salty and sweet and this dessert delivered both. Read more

Churros were freshly made and were good! The campfire churro we ordered was missing the marshmallow and the graham cracker, so... basically the whole part that makes it ?campire?. Read more

Delicious! It was crowded but well worth the wait. We had the Campfire (left) and the Orchard (right). We love the contrast of... adding cold ice cream to our hot/warm churros! Will be back. Read more

Churro Co is an absolute hidden gem in South Austin. You'll be hard pressed to find churros in general in Austin -- but you'd be... even more hard pressed to find churros like this ANYWHERE due to both the freshness as well as the creativity. And whatabsolutely sets Churro Co apart is their constant level of innovation -- constantly coming up with new recipes, bringing oldfavorites back, etc. Particular highlights, for me, are just the traditional cinnamon-sugar churros with some of their homemadesauces and their spiced hot chocolate. Don't sleep on the hot chocolate! As far as the specialities go, the Campfire (kind oftheir version of a s'mores churro, we all know that burnt marshmallow is the best part of any s'more and this has that!) is theone you see on Instagram the most but the Texas Comfort takes it for me. Take the best part of a funnel cake and an apple pieand combine them and you have the Texas Comfort. Shoutout to Leo and David for keeping things authentic! Bring back the ClintEastwood! ????
