Went to this Korean bbq place on a Sunday night, there were plenty of tables and a good amount of people inside. We wanted to... get the galbi Jim for two but unfortunately they sold out that night. Me and my partner opted for the LA galbi and the bibimbap.The LA galbi was delicious and came with rice, the bibimbap was underwhelming like the reviewers stated but I had forgotten andstill ordered it? it?s smaller than average, usually it?s a huge bowl in most places. We had a great experience at this authentic Korean BBQ. The brisket and spicy pork were excellent and easy to cook. The soondubu... (spicy tofu stew with beef) was awesome and the side dishes (banchans) are fresh. The restaurant was busy but we receivedfriendly and responsive service. My friend and I had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but the food was worth it. I wouldcertainly return to explore more of this traditional menu! Read more
It?s one of the best in Austin honestly. However, Austin?s Korean dinning experience is still growing so that?s not too good of... a thing to compare it to. The food is good, the meat is delicious. As far as the other reviews here go, it?s true, they areunderstaffed and at times don?t respond to the bell. However, they will respond to the ???! However, the reason for my 1 stardeduction is the lack of options other than the main staples. They don?t have rice paper, purple rice, etc? I met some of my coworkers for lunch here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our lunch party kept growing, so they... offered to move us to the private room. Our waiter Ben was amazing and patient, and the food was delicious. We had the Kimchipancake (crispy), Jabchae, Beef Bulgolgi, Soft Tofu Seafood Soup with Galbi, and combination meat grill. I really enjoyed the low key environment of this restaurant! I love Korean bbq but some of the more popular once can be a bit... overwhelming. This was a much more relaxed and chill environment and also had plates you could order of you didn?t want to dobbq. Would definitely recommend as a good alternative for Korean BBQ! Read more
