Food was pretty terrible. The first clue to stay away should have been not 1 single other person at the restaurant. The General... Tso's chicken basically had some chiles and it looked like they poured Chinese bbq sauce all over it. Broccoli that came with itwasn't even cooked. Lazy and pretty terrible. The chicken lo mein had lots of chicken. Too bad they didn't put anything else init. Go to literally any other Chinese restaurant in the area and you'll get better food. Read more
Updated 06/28/22... I was there again today. The Food Still worth it and delicious. I got the chef specialty with all the meats.... It was so good. I had to bring some home. The Fox ???? I have come twice and really enjoyed their delicious food. There are alot of things I never tried before and look forward to... trying them all. (And the staff are super friendly) (Try the Singapore noodles with beef or the Curry fried rice. Outstanding.) Read more
We were in the mood for Chinese food and decided to give a new place a try. I went to China Gold and grabbed a couple of lunch... plates to go and some stirfry noodles. Everything was tasty, nothing outstanding. We both thought it was fairly average Chinesefood. Not really a criticism, just a reality. Ordered the Chicken with Blackbean sauce and the Thai basil shrimp. Both lunchescame with the choice of soup and a tiny eggroll. Read more
We got takeout tonight and had pretty high hopes because a lot of the reviews were so positive. But all of the dishes we got had... major problems: Vegetable spring rolls - they are big, I will give them that. But they lack, well, vegetables! Its essentiallynoodles in a rice paper roll with 1 piece of lettuce and 4 basil leaves. That's it! And I was so saddened by the peanut sauce.It was essentially peanut water. :( Eggdrop soup - this was by far and away the BIGGEST disappointment. Contained egg, noodles,carrot, celery, and what tasted like 1/4cup of oil. It was inedible. Kung Pao Tofu - in the politest way possible, it wasCOMPLETELY flavorless. Just a bland grouping of tofu and veggies. And sadly, this was the best dish of the night. But only ifyou didn't eat the brown rice that we ordered with it. That was like eating playground pebbles. Yu Shang Eggplant - finally,something flavorful! But it was vastly OVERCOOKED and just mush with a ton of oil poured over it. Mongolian Beef - overcookedonion and peppers with bland beef pieces poached in oil. Yuck. Overall, I give 2 stars for ease of ordering/pick up, the amountof food given in the servings was reasonable, and the white rice was passable. Read more
We should have taken the reviews more seriously. Unfortunately, except for the steamed rice, we had to throw everything out. We... paid extra for white meat chicken, but whatever they used was not chicken. It was some rubbery sort of mystery meat. The beef isfatty and over-saturated with sauce. They must put a thickener additive in the soup. The broth looked and felt like gravy andnot broth. What a waste of money, and now we need to figure out what to eat for dinner. Read more
