Good homestyle food! Not the best I had, but definitely it felt like home. The noodles are nicely made, and the soup is light.

Definitely one of the best noodle place in Austin. First it is very authentic Chinese hand made noodles with a lot of choice of... meat. The soup is light and can be spicy. I recommend beef and lamb. The place is a bit small and it is self serving style. Theprice is very good. Read more

Sesame Pocket with pork, Mala beef noodle soup and House special shaved noodle with pork. Everything was great except the Mala... Beef noodle soup was a little too pungent for my taste. But the House special shaved noodle is one of the best I have had, thetexture of the noodle, chewy, hearty but not doughy, if that make any sense.. In terms of dine-in atmosphere: Its a smalldining area, tables are close together, room for improvement in the cleaniness department. Read more

The spicy lamb bun was good, but the "Spicy lamb noodles"? Absolutely disgusting. Think of it like this, you're eating leftover... noodles that's heated. It was repulsive and I'm not a picky eater. I do not recommend this place at all. Read more

If you?re looking for an authentic Chinese noodle (and soup) shop, look no further! Chen?s Noodle House is a hole in the wall... in one of Austin?s small, niche, Asian markets. The homemade noodles (watch them being made?it?s cool) are a culinary joy! Amazon texture and flavor. The sauces, spices, herbs, and flavors are out of this world. Mr. Chen is a serious and hardworking man?his talents lie in the delicious and unique flavors he serves up. Enjoy this no frills hole in the wall?you willNOT be disappointed. Read more

Great noodles made in house. Other than serving the dish, everything else is self service. You?ll have to pour yourself water,... grab utensils and return finished dishes to a designated area. There is ample parking. Read more

Chen?s Noodle House- if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go! This small restaurant off Spicewood... Springs in N Austin is so good! I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup (#19 on the menu) and was impressed. You know you are getting thegood stuff when the menu is in Chinese and there are Chinese-speaking individuals eating there with you. I will definitely beback! Read more

In search of a big bowl of wonton soup so I decided to give this place a try over other similarly styled restaurants in the... area. While the soup was steamy hot & filled with some vegetables and lots of meat-filled dumplings, there not a lot elsespecial about this $11 bowl. No taste, flavor or seasoning. The $3 onion patties were also flavorless and a bit greasy. Therewas free water offered and only a few canned drink options in the cooler. The service was curt, abrupt and not friendly at all.Basically serve yourself with dirty tables and ?clean-up after yourself? expected atmosphere. Read more
