Always busy on a Friday night, I suppose, and with good reason. Lots of great seafood at reasonable prices. Excellent service... and great local ambiance. Read more

Drove from San Antonio to eat at this place. I remembered it from along time ago as having really good seafood. However on this... day the food definitely did not live up to what I remembered. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and a cup of gumbo. Gumbo was OK butcould have been warmer it was little to cold for me taste like it had sat all day. The stuffed shrimp was a disappointment theytasted burnt or like they had been re-cooked, shrimp was so rubbery I could barely chew them. Once again they were cold. But Ididn't complain just took them home and tossed them. The waitress was nice but was slow about bringing extras when asked if weneeded anything. Never did receive the lemons...overall I don't think I will be making that drive again anytime soon. Read more

A small restaurant in the shape of a boat. There is seating outside on a deck. The inside seating gets full fast and the wait is... long when that happens. The food is good and the prices aren't too high for seafood prices. The tables always feel stickythough. Read more

Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere! Prices were typical of what you'd see at a seafood restaurant and wasn't... overpriced for the quality of food. Fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly and had great flavor to them, overall presentation wasgreat, the only thing was the gumbo was dull and bland in flavor. Overall great place to go check out! I ordered the alligator appetizer. For twelve dollars I got about twenty quarter sized pieces that were so over cooked I broke... one of my teeth on it. I had the pick your own combo( I had shrimp and scallops) the scallops were good...the shrimp was so overcooked that they tasted more like shrimp jerky and the hush puppies were hard as a brick. I wouldn't recommend and will not beback. Read more

Chicken and sausage gumbo had good flavor and high quality ingredients but not even slightly spicy. So it was very enjoyable.... Just wish it had been a little spicy. (Hot sauce bottles on the table. Tabasco and Louisiana Hot Sauce. I don?t like vinegarbased hot sauces.) Read more

The wait staff was pretty ok. I was really disappointed because I bought the stuffed shrimp platter and it was terrible. It had... absolutely no flavor. Normally the stuffing mix pops in stuffed shrimp but there was nothing. Even had my friend try it to makesure it wasn't just me complaining. The seafood gumbo was good though. But 20.00 for the platter and left all the stuffed shrimpon the plate. Read more

This place is the best little seafood spot in town. Low key, super chill atmosphere. Great food! The gumbo has to be my... favorite. I really do have a hard time trying to leave. It?s a very humble place so don?t expect much. But do enjoy thequirkiness of this place. Love it! Austin best kept secret. Read more
