As a Caribbean person I came in a bit skeptical but was pleasantly surprised. The modern take of the Caribbean foods I grew up... eating was well done. Finally a chic Caribbean spot to get flavorful Caribbean Cusine. Everything we had was great and shareable. We had the lamb and the jerk chicken. The plantain chips was amazing. The Caribbean music added to the authenticity! Willvisit again Read more

Canje was DELICIOUS ???? a must eat and also a great experience overall, the cocktails were yummy based on my husbands review. I... would be back soon! I’ve been on this non alcoholic thing for a few months now and I was surprised they had a zero proof menu!I feel that restaurants should definitely have more of this options. The mocktails there were definitely some of my favoriteI’ve had so far. Read more

The service was exceptional. Whenever we needed something, someone was already anticipating it and at our table immediately. It... was a relaxed but refined environment. The food was delicious and showed complexity in the ingredients / flavors utilized. Verymuch enjoyed it. Albacore ceviche was my favorite and would highly recommend. The peanuts were an unexpected but welcomeddelight paired with the fresh fish. We will be returning! Read more

Interesting blend of Caribbean foods that had unique flavors that were not familiar to me. The beef curry was dark brown and... sour tasting. The Guyanese roti was delicious. Jerk chicken was kind of dry with no sauce. Prices were very high for thefood and drinks. I had a curry drink that was tasty but didn’t really have any alcohol in it. Read more

This place is so good been here twice this week. Both times had the greatest "Cuisine Concierge" Joshua. So much wonderful food... from Guyana, Jamaica, & another country I can't recall. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Will be back totry something wonderful & new. Reservations are a must. Oh and everything you order is shareable. Kudos Canje my new favoriterestaurant. Read more

I really liked the jerk chicken and then I liked the goat and the plantains. The rest were decent. I think the flavor is... fantastic on the chicken and on the curry and on the vegetables. So that is where I'd give four stars. What weirded me out themost is, as far as I remember, the curry didn't come out with rice or bread. We ordered the rice and the roti separately. Wehappened to know to do that, but I really think that dish should be auto-served (with the obvious increase in price) with carbs.Same for the jerk chicken coming with plantains. It just seems like a tapas style works if you tell people "get it this way".For those who've had Ethiopian or Brazilian, the best of those is also usually "get your mix of a family plate like this." Thesame is true here. P.S. the bar is five stars. So good. If I had more room I would have blacked out the cocktail menu. Read more
