A $12 grilled cheese should be full of cheese and ingredients. I paid $12 for toast that cheese walked past once.

I tried their sandwich on their food truck during new year's celebration in Austin. I liked the grilled cheese sandwich, I had... the O.G on Hawaiian buns($6) My issue is the size of the sandwich for the price,it's not worth it. Probably not my go to place. Read more

Pretty good grilled cheese sandwiches here. At around $9 for a sandwich, I wished they were bigger as they aren't very filling... by themselves. Read more

First thing on my list when I moved to the states: Get a proper grilled cheese sandwich. After browsing my Instagram feed I... found the right spot. Burro's! A small, not really a trailer but more like a container, kitchen on the S Congress Avenue. Ididn't paid much attention to the opening hours so the first time I have been here was a Tuesday and it was closed. I came againa couple of days later and have been let down. I ordered the Waylon and Willie and it was so delicious. Everything is made freshand it's hot, no gooey cheese or what soever. The bread toasted to perfection, can't wait for my next bite! Read more

This location is a little further south than Google maps suggested - its in a bright yellow shipping container type building.... The grilled cheese combinations were all creative and delicious. We especially loved the goat cheese and mac and cheese options! Read more

I absolutely LOVED this place- I mean who hates a good grilled cheese sandwich? I had the Via 206(this is a mind blowing... sandwich and you MUST try it!), and my hubby had the Coppola(which was also very very good!). We got the tomato soup and dippedthe grilled cheese sandwiches with it. Service was good, and the food was even better! The only bad thing was that they ran outof their King Hawaiian bread, which I heard was incredibly delicious. Definitely will have to come here again to try it out! :) Read more

I was so excited to try this little shipping container eatery because I love grilled cheese, especially when it's fancy, but I... was sadly a little disappointed. On my first visit, I got the Via 206 (sourdough, cheddar, gouda + balsamic apricot fig) addsmoked prosciutto, and it was pretty tasty, but just so so greasy. I felt really gross while and after eating it. They heavilylubricate all the sandwiches and make them on the same buttery/oily griddle press type thing and it's just overkill for me. OnFridays they do a brisket special featuring meat from La Barbecue that sounds so good in theory, but same issues forme--excessively greasy, so much that it takes away from the actual ingredients. This could just be a personal preferencebecause I always see people eating there and they seem completely satisfied. I really wanted to love it, but I just can't getover the exorbitance. On a positive note, it occupies a lovely little space on south congress with some shaded seatingavailable on site. Parking's really not even much of a problem since it's a bit south of where the stores and restaurantsbegin. It shares a space with a juice/smoothie trailer that's nice and healthy, so even if you do indulge in a sinful sandwich, you have the convenient option of grabbing a green juice to go to balance out your insides. Another positive is they use highquality cheeses, local breads from Easy Tiger, and have a large assortment of unique sauces that you won't find at your typicalgrilled cheese place. No matter what I say, in all honesty I'll probably go back because let's be real, it's cheese and bread, two of life's greatest pleasures. Read more
