I ordered the pesto while my friends ordered the other bowls. Overall it wasn?t a bad choice if you?re craving pesto and... burrata, the pasta wasn?t over cooked like many Italian places in austin do. However, although I personally did not try theother dishes my friends ordered, they said it was way too salty. For me, my pesto was definitely under seasoned and for $15 foran under seasoned pesto dish, I think there are better options. Read more

Such a great spot for lunch! There?s plenty of parking so it?s easy to run in and do a pick up order as well. I had a panini, a... pasta, and the tiramisu and they were all so amazing! Will definitely be returning! Read more

I love burrata! I had a Burrata Salad for the first time last month and it changed my life. When I learned that there was a... restaurant called the Burrata House , I made a mad dash. Opted for the Prosciutto Bowl. Thin delectable slices of prosciutto, mixed greens, farro, arugula, cherry tomatoes topped with Burrata cheese served with a wonderful vinaigrette. It makes my mouthwater just thinking about it! The Tiramisu was absolutely the best I have had in my life. Great food, great fast friendlyservice! Read more

Surprisingly good for a fast food counter restaurant. The burrata cheese atop a meat or pasta bowl is a great concept. Our group... had a variety of bowls and sandwiches, everyone enjoyed it. My pasta was a bit undercooked. Would recommend for those lookingfor fresh dish and cheesy combination. Read more

I?d def come back to Burrata house! Everyone was so friendly and the food was good! We had the bolognese and the one of their... farro bowls. The flavors were great but the bowl was a straight out the fridge temperature, so don?t expect a warm bowl. Theyeven gave us a free piece of tiramisu which was reeeeeally good. Read more

As an Italian living in Austin, I'm always so happy to try new Italian restaurants. I was looking forward to try Burrata House... and I was not disappointed. The food is very fresh! And it tastes just like it tastes in Italy. I tried the prosciutto paniniand the pesto pasta. The pesto was one of the best I tried in a restaurant as it wasn't too strong and full of garlic. I lookforward to com back and try other dishes. The place is also nice, it's small but when I went it was a Monday and there weren'ttoo many people so I can't tell how it is during pick times. I've seen many reviews complaining that the food doesn't have ataste or other stuff. I think that those people are just used to eating at Olive Garden or other non so authentic Italianrestaurants. This is what Italian food taste likes Read more

Burrata House is Austin?s newest restaurant serving up dishes where burrata, an Italian cow milk cheese made from mozzarella and... cream, is the star of the show! This cheese has an outside casing that is solid and an inside which contains the creamyingredients. After spending a week in Italy last month, I noticed that the food there was fresh due to the use of good-qualityingredients. The food wasn?t overly heavy and it wasn?t overly salty/sweet either. In the states, you often find Italian food tobe quite the opposite, but not at Burrata House. They do a great job with keeping the recipes as close to authentic aspossible! With that said, I tried a few different items: - Signature Pesto Pasta: great herbal flavor that contrasts well withthe creamy cheese ($12.99) - 4.25/5 - Cotto Bowl: cotto is similar to prosciutto, just steam-roasted. This was good, but Iwasn?t overly enthusiastic about it and personally liked the other dishes more ($14.49) - 3.25/5 - Prosciutto Panini: I?m notsure where they source their ciabatta bread, but I?m here for it. Enjoyed the prosciutto as well! ($13.49) - 4/5 - Pane &Nutella: simple, yet delicious. Great way to satisfy your sweet tooth after - this is a popular item you?ll find a lot in Italy($4.99) - 4/5 I essentially feel the same about each dish: they?re fresh, not overly salty/rich, and have well-balanced flavorsthat?ll have you not feeling bad afterwards. You can?t go wrong with any of the above, it just depends on what you?re in themood for. With that said, I would have liked the burrata cheese to have been a bit more flavorful as I felt it was a bit moremild on the rich, buttery notes. Still good, but left more to be desired. Overall, I had a great time and would be back. Agreat place to visit if you want Italian, but also eat something more wholesome. I rate them a 4/5! Read more
