We came in for dinner super hungry. Since we have heard great things about this place, we were excited to try the food here. We... got gnocchi with butternut squash and margerita pizza with mushrooms. I was shocked with the pasta quantity, it was the size ofan appetizer. I thought it would be a full entree given its price. The gnocchi wasn't that great but the sauce made it better.Luckily we enjoyed our pizza, the sauce and the cheese was fresh and tasted good. But I have definitely had better neapolitanpizzas in Austin. For the price we paid, we were still left feeling hungry. Read more

Bufalina Due on Burnet is great! The Neapolitan pizza is flash baked for 90 seconds in their large 900 degree oven. The flavors... are great. We ordered the red pie with pepperoni, vodka arrabiatta with sausage, and the fresca pizza- all very different. Iwanted the sausage though to not be crumbles. It’s a small place with quite the selection of wines. If you want some qualitypizza, head Bufalina! Read more

Very intriguing aesthetic. Fresh mozzarella. The wine selection was huge. It was hard to choose one pizza. Pretty small so we... got lucky that we could be seated right away. Fun check presenters. Read more

I had dinner at Bufalina with a friend, and I’m a bit surprised at all the 5-star reviews. First off, the food: we ordered the... burrata appetizer and two pizzas. The “burrata” was basically mozzarella bufala, which is to be expected in most restaurantsoutside of Italy, but the real problem was that it was spiced irregularly and in parts turned out to be very over-salted. Thepizza was decent, a bit too greasy for me, but ok. However, it’s certainly not the best pizza I’ve had in Austin, to behonest. In terms of atmosphere: the staff were nice, although the server seemed a bit out of it and didn’t really know themenu so well. We’d also ordered wine, which was forgotten about at first, but we had received a few complimentary items tomake up for it, so that was a nice gesture. The service was on the slow side, especially when it came to our first pizza. Theatmosphere at Bufalina was casual, which I liked but, being a rather small restaurant, it felt a bit tight and crowded. Overall,I’d say Bufalina is overhyped and definitely overpriced for what it is. Read more

Buffalina Due has some delicious Neapolitan pizza. A lot of different options to choose from as well. We also got the Carbonara,... but I forgot to take a picture because we were so hungry haha needless to say it was tasty. The Red Pie with pepperoni hasreally good flavor the only downside it the lack of mozzarella to soak up the sauce. Towards the end the slices were a bit limpfor this style of pizza. If you are looking for a cozy date spot this is a good place. It isn’t very big and the parking is alittle bit limited. But one key thing is happy hour from 4:00-5:30 I think it was Monday-Friday. Half off pizza! It’s a stealat that price around $8-$9 a pie. Read more

I'm unsure where my last review went, but as always, Bufalina didn't disappoint. The Roasted mushroom and Fresca pizzas were... really good, and the seasonal mozerella we had prior to our pizza was divine--the shrooms in the dish really made it superb. Our bottle of Nizza (Barbera) was really nice too. Service is always 5-stars here...I still can't wait for the rdplacementEast-side shop to open...any day now... Read more

Buffalina remains the best pizza in Austin and maybe even Texas! The crust is a beautiful balance of texture and taste... supporting an equally fantastic set of toppings. Everything tastes so incredibly fresh that it's as if you were eating pizza onthe Mediterranean coast. Arrive very early or on off hours because the indoor area fills fast. That said, this is one of theonly restaurants I recommend waiting for because it's worth any wait any time. Read more
