Came here for the first time with my husband and I really liked it! Very chill, relaxed bar with great drinks and atmosphere.... They have a good sized outdoor seating, indoor seating, pool table and a mini bar. Bartender was a very nice lady and I reallyenjoyed the frozen sangria. Good burger and priced moderately. No table service and not much room inside. Not my idea of a place in this hot summer... weather to sit outside and eat. The food was amazing. The bartender/ attendant was a little rude. We had a vegetarian burger and chicken sandwich. The chicken... was dry and chewy. They have a lot of vegetarian options and good beer promotion and collection. Read more
Really surprised how great the wings were; easily top 5 in Austin. The fried mushrooms and onion rings were also really good.

This is the go-to dive bar for my dad and I when we want a divey burger. We try and make it once a month. Staff is very... friendly. The beer selection rotates and is always a good pick. We enjoy eating out on the patio. Always local neighbors there.The food is outstanding and I recommend the Cobra Burger if it?s your first time. You can get a cup of chili on the side whichis the move to make, tastes like a true Texas treat and there are no beans. Thank goodness. Their onion rings also hit the spot. Read more
TLDR: a perfectly above average dive bar For the food: I ordered Billy?s ?The Shults? burger. The wait time for the food was... perfectly reasonable. The burger was well seasoned and well constructed. The only real complaint was the pickle on top wasrather small and lackluster. The fries were fresh and crisp, and also well seasoned. For the drinks: Billy?s offers a more thanample beer menu with the common stock, as well as a decent selection of local breweries. For the atmosphere: Billy?s certainlyfronts the image of a dive bar, and does so very well. Dimly lit, slightly crowded, and a prominent bar situated directly acrossthe entrance all help establish the environment they want. The patio in the side is well shaded, and has much less road noisethan I initially expected. The only complaint is the flies on the patio are out of control. For the value: Given the location,I can?t really blame Billy?s for the prices. I feel like I payed a bit more than what I would have wanted for what I got,however, that feeling isn?t uncommon in Austin in general, and especially Burnet. Everything else: there?s virtually no parkingat Billy?s, however there is some street parking within easy walking distance. And yet again, the flies on the patio are onanother level. Read more
